    That was not a robbery.

I give him credit for beating Mosley twice and Felix Trinidad, but outside of that he has no other great wins on his resume. You can't just beat a great fighter and get into the Hall. If that's the case why not put Tarver in there. After all beating Roy twice>>Beating Shane twice.

Not just that, but his 3 biggest wins were against career WW's Quartey, Trinindad, and Mosley. I can't give him credit for the Quartey win because Ike was 3-3 above his career weight and two of his wins were against Journeymen.

Sorry but he had his opportunities but kept coming up short. Against Vargas, Taylor and B-hop and time he fought a guy equal in size he basically lost. So no....Winky isn't a hall of famer and not even an ATG.
Trinidad and Mosley were perfectly capable at 154 so you can throw that bull**** out.

I gave him credit for those two wins. I said that he has to do more than that to get into the hall. Since when does beating a great fighter get you in. If that's the case then Tarver gets in due to him clipping Roy twice.

Dude you gotta understand that divisions such as 154, 168 and cruiserweight aren't that prestigous. Getting in the top 5 in those divisions doesnt = ATG.

Sorry, when I think of HOF fighters, I try to hold it to a high level such as the NFL, NBA, and other pro sports. He will get in, but in my opinion doesn't deserve to. If he would have beatin Taylor, B-hop, and Vargas....sure but he didn't and his only great wins in my opinion are Mosley and trinidad.

Again this is no diss, but if I was to say he was a HOF fighter, then I would have to say Cotto, Calzaghe and a host of other fighters deserve to be in there because they have all had better careers and resumes. People get fooled by winky's little hot streak. Not flaming (Im off that ****) but Im being dead serious.

Look at it this way. Whats Calzaghes best prime win?

Thats right Kessler. And that clown is a lock...lol. Winky is getting in. In his prime he was dominant. When you say "only" like that you make it seem like they were scrubs they were pretty good fighters.

You can argue that in 36 rounds with Trinidad and Mosley they only won a handful. That dude had talent out of this world. One of the best JMW's. One of the best jabs ever. One of the best defensive fighters ever. He has was a beast.

Well If you feel that way..cool, but it's just I really limited the amount of boxers who I consider HOF fighters. Cotto, Calzaghe and a bunch of other fighters aren't HOF'ers in my book, but that's just me. Mosley and Trinidad were great wins but after that he resume drops down big time. Also he has never dominated the division he has been at his entire career. Don't get me wrong he went on a small run but other than that....his resume looks bare.
