People get fooled by winky's little hot streak. Not flaming (Im off that ****) but Im being dead serious.
Calz will get in hands down. Also there are other fighters who basically got in with 2 wins over a quality opponent(Aaron Pryor right off top). He had a draw with the undisputed MW champion and it took a SMW BHop to hand him his first defeat since Vargas. The Vargas fight was also close and that should be taken into consideration instead of just saying well he lost.

if he had not been robbed against vargas, taylor and simon(hell even vazquez beat him by a point at most....vazquez didnt win a round in which he didnt drop winky and shouldve had like 10 points deducted for rabbit punching) and hopkins had actually boxed instead of fouling and pittypatted his way to a decision, wright wouldve been an ATG.....but his resume is lacking, so HOF only...skillwise he was the GOAT...

Honestly all of those guys will get in. Like I said prior, there are only a handful of fighters from this era that I consider HOF, but that is because I hold the title of "HOF fighter" in a higher prestige than those guys who do the voting. Hell according to them (those doing the voting), Aurto Gatti will be a HOF fighter.

also not to flame, but I'm not to high on moral victories. Either you win or you don't, and sadly he didn't (against BHOP, vargas and Taylor).

Actually you should watch it again. I have watched it numerous times and is not a robbery. If you believe Winky won fine, but it was a close fight. It was a fight that could of gone either way. Saying it was a robbery is like Williams>Martinez is a robbery or Calzagher>Hopkins was a robbery. When the fact is all these fights were close that could of gone either way.

Gatti was involved in 4 FightsOfTheYear , a KnockoutOfTheYear, an UpsetOfTheYear, ComebackOfTheYear and 3 RoundsOfTheYear. The man was a legendary crowd pleaser I think he deserves to be in there too. If they allow writers and trainers in Im pissed if they dont allow Gatti in. One of a kind.

Oh no if the guy you're rooting for loses a close fight its automatically a robbery. You didnt know?

Bro hes one of my favorite fighters Ive seen it a bunch of times too. And the Taylor fight. He shouldve been awarded the decision IMO.

I watched that fight from a Vargas fan eyes and a Winky fans eyes.
