He's absolutely the top heavyweight sine Ali. No doubt about it in my mind. If he was American, he would be considered as such.

He beat everyone. Over 15 years.

Of course age and prime are not the same thing. Take into account Lennox fought in a tougher era, had more fights and didnt take a 4 year hiatus.

you expect him to fight lewis after serving a long prison sentence?
Lewis was the HW champ and Tyson was out of the fight game and out of shape he needed some tune ups
If you call that avoiding then how long has khan avoided prescott?
calzaghe avoid all the top prime us fighters?

That people use THAT as their best argument against Lewis being the greatest of his generation highlights just how great the guy was.

Most heavyweights got beat up towards the end of their careers. Not Lewis. The guy was pushing 40 and still fighting the top guys. After Tyson, he really didn't need to go on.
Ok then let's talk about how he was KTFO by 2 clubfighters.

            Talk us through this:

the fact that you think Tyson ducked lewis is laughable
first mike never called his own shots
                      blame don king
                      second
this was very similar to pac and floyd
both egos were way too big

if you want to call that ducking then like I said
the same could be said for those other fighters from yander
