      Lennox vs Tyson

Lennox beat everyone better than Tyson did, except Bruno. Tyson also lost both fights to Holyfield, who Lennox BEAT both times. Lennox beat Tyson.

      Lennox vs Holmes

Lennox simply fought in a superior era and beat a better quality of opposition than Larry did. Bowe (im counting the 88 final cus Bowe ran away like a baby after that), Tyson, Holyfield, Mercer, Klitschko, Ruddock, Tucker, Bruno, Morrison, Golota, Grant....these were all tough fights when he took them. He beat every opponent he ever faced.

      Lennox vs Foreman

Foreman was the most one-dimensional fighter there's ever been. He was a wrecking machine until he fought Ali....Lewis would have beaten him in the same way Ali did. Except he would have knocked him out earlier. Foreman admitted he would never have beaten Lewis.

      Lewis vs Holyfield

I mean this is a no brainer. Lewis landed TWICE as many punches as Headbuttfield in the first fight, yet somehow got screwed. In the early 90's Bowe beat Holyfield twice. Yes, the same Rid**** Bowe who threw his title in the bid so that he wouldn't have to fight the man who embarassed him in the Olympic Final. Lennox Lewis.

both egos were way too big

if you want to call that ducking then like I said
the same could be said for those other fighters from yander
Tyson paid Lewis millions of dollars not to fight him. If thats not ducking, I dont really know what is...

There should be another weight class for these giants Lewis, Vitali and Wlad.

That's the truth. And that is what hurts his legacy the most. It's not the fact that he didn't give Vitali a rematch. It's those 2 losses by KTFO.

Believe it or not, a rematch doesn't completely erase losing to someone the caliber of a McCall or Rahman, especially getting KTFO the way he did.

You guys aren't doing yourselves any favors calling Lewis prime at 29.

KTFO? He was stopped on his feet against McCall. He was clearly ill-prepared for Rahman....yes it was his own fault but the rematch told you everything you needed to know.

So lummox would do the rope-a-dope on Foreman?

How could I forget the way David 'the next mike tyson' Tua was hopelessly outclassed by Lennox when the two met.

Or the way he avenged his only two fluke losses in style...making McCall cry like a baby before predicting a KTFO of Rahman in 4 rounds and doing exactly that :wank:

                    True style.

Did Tyson ever come back and avenge a loss?

                    ...That's what I thought.

Two equally matched fighters winning one fight a piece, no problem.

Losing to a McCall caliber fighter is not erased by a single rematch (which he only won because Oliver had a mental breakdown.)
