No, Pavlik is terrible, the only way Martinez loses is if he gasses, which he won't.

I watched the Espino fight last night. He was incredibly slow. In a way you might be right. I just dont think Martinez can take his punches. Ey Hit me wit some K. Im on a quest to get green.

If Martinez beats Pavlik, Martinez will be the undisputed middleweight champion due to the championship lineage created by Hopkins. I might be wrong, but Hopkins got the Ring belt when he beat Tito. Hopkins had all four belts and the Ring Title. No doube he was the undisputed middleweight champ. Then comes Jermaine Taylor. He beat Hopkins twice and took his claim. Pavlik then beat Taylor. Get it?

It's not his one loss, it's his ****ing slowness, and complete inability to adapt to opponents.

Pavlik couldn't handle the movement and handspeed of a 43 year old Hopkins, I see Martinez causing Pavlik similar problems because he like Hopkins, has good handspeed and moves well.

Pavlik is only really good when you stand in front of him, like Taylor did in the first fight for example.

I do see this fight being more competitive than Hopkins - Pavlik though, because Martinez lacks the size Hopkins has, doesn't hit as hard and defensively isn't as good.

I do see Martinez winning, via UD.

Pavlik can win this fight with his power though, if he can land consitently enough of course.

true....but this fight is @ 160...........unlike the Hopkins fight....i have a feeling Pavlik will pull this one out......i am a fan of both anf i though Martinez beat Williams......

Not to flame...but just because a fighter has a weakness doesn't make them a terrible fighter. You can say that about any fighter...

Mosley is terrible because he cant handle a jab
Wlad is terrible because of his poor chin
Cotto is terrible because he cant handle fighters who take the fight to him
B-hop is terrible because he cant handle guys with high work rate.

I mean I can go on and on but the point is this; These guys (just like Pavlik) are great because they strengths far outweigh there weaknesses. I just cant see how a guy who is the undisputed/ring champ at middleweight...a guy who destroyed Taylor, Miranda and other top middleweights, Is considered a "terrible fighter". Again not to flame....but I just cant see someone coming to this type of conclusion.

I give Kelly props for the Miranda win, he was underestimated, came in and did his job. Taylor was never that good to begin w/ in my opinion. Taylor had more controversial wins than any fighter I know, too many flaws. I think the way Kelly was portrayed to the boxing world, people expected more from. I think Kelly and Taylor are average elites.
