I think that the slickest boxer that Mosley absolutely dominated was Collazo. I mean he fought a perfect fight that night. I look more into that win than I do with the one over Margarito even though it will have been three years ago by the time Floyd and Shane fight.

Roach is actually on to something bu he is also letting us know that he is already looking past the Clottey fight. Roach has studied Floyd and Shane repeatedly to see where he can find an opening for Manny. He is all but saying he thinks Shane will loose this fight based on what he sees in both fighter's arsenal. It should be a very competitive fight but Manny also has his hands full with Clottey.

Mosley's strategy in the collazo fight was different. He knew that collazo had a pretty good defense. So decided to fight a more tactical fight relying less on power punches. If he had employed this strategy in his fight with cotto he would've been more successful.Last edited by northstar; 03-01-2010, 09:53 PM.

If Mosley can hit u consistently with his best punches, he will press for the ko. Cotto took advantage of that by jabbing and counter punching.

i think a lot of ppl are gonna be suprised in this fight. while i admit shane is a good fighter, there is no way he's faster than may. all he has is his pressure and everytime i think about it, anytime a fighter's pressured may, they've played right into his hands and he exposed them with his defense and counters. i cant see mosely getting past tht.

This is possibly the greatest boxer of all time. Now we have to wait until his career is officially over before we start comparing imo. I hate it when guys are in the middle of their careers being compared to all time greats. So i'm not gonna do that. But get over your hatred for Mayweather and really think. Do you really think Mosley or Pacman has a chance against Mayweather? I mean if Mosley was so sure of himself he would of fought Mayweather years ago when Mayweather called him out. Not just when he wants to make a pay day. And if Pacquiao was so sure of himself then he would of gave a lil blood and got in the ring. Mayweather P4P you'll see.
Mayweather has nice footwork, and a nice sneaky right hand. In this he is neither unusual nor unique, many past and some present fighters have the same attributes. And they are not "possibly the greatest of all time".
It's really one of the silliest things I've read for a long time.
