Roach "Floyd's not just a runner, he'll set you up." Thats what hardcore fans of boxing have been saying about Mayweather for years. Its funny that its only stans of certain boxers, casual fans or people with no insight to the sport of boxing think otherwise and they think boxing is seeing two men stand in the center of the ring and take each others heads off.

      in reply to scarhead.

he didnt say that. he said "floyds not just a runner", implying he is a runner amongst other things. the way you have put it implies roach doesnt believe he runs, which is not the case.

floyd better run as his uncle roger thinks pacquiao is bullet proof and unstoppable. your typical meth head.

roach should stop talking and just concentrate on the fight in front of him and making sure pacman gets past clottey

I agree and share Roache's sentiment. It's simple, if Cotto was able to outhustle and outjab Mosley.... then why wouldn't Mayweather be able to duplicated the effort.

I'm rooting for Mosley.... a win over Mayweather would make his lifestory worthy of a movie, but as the day get's closer I'm leaning towards Mayweather to outbox and out class Mosley.

Now... if Mosley would be able to put this off and on May 1 is able to win this one... I will be the first one jumpling and screaming.... can't wait!

Note - I do believe that this is the first opponent that Maywather has in a long time that it's in his level. I will be a good fight!!

Hope naz can put out a gameplan that can counter 146 pounder's potshots at least somewhat to make the fight interesting.

Mayweather will have to be at his best.I think we all know he will.Great fight.
My primal instincts, accompanied by most of the boxing savvy I have encountered inform me that Shane can defeat Floyd, even at his advanced age.
Check Maywethers record carefully and tell me who he has defeated in the prior 4 years, De La Hoya included, who is even close to encompassing the gifts that Mosely brings to this dance. It may even come down to a split verdict but I feel that just as the time has come for Jeff Bridges to receive his due from the Academy Of Motion Picures, it is also Shane's time to get a favorable nod in a very big encounter. At 38, his opportunity has come once again, the climate feels right and I believe he will still be capable of pulling the trigger as required.

look man, Shane's losses didn't have **** to do with speed and movement .....Vernon's jab bothered Shane so much that he walked into a right hand that put him on his ass.....Winky's right jab and size was too much for Shane.....and the difference maker in the Cotto fight was Cotto's jab.....Cotto even said it himself!!!....so it looks like a effective jab is the key to beating Shane.....get it right!!

Mayweather has no definite style, he addapts to many styles...It will be interesting to see the strategy Roach will use against PBF if they meet at years end... maybe something like the first 2-3 rounds of Judah...But then again, PBF will adapt, can PAC keep up he seems to do the same over and over...

Mayweather by fighting SSM has erased the ducking & scared arguments for now!!....thanks GOD!

But now im going 4 Clottey because these dudes seem 2 be more focused on the Mayweather-Mosley fight then their own. It'll be the funniest thing in the world if Clottey goes in there beats him, roach would look like such a ****head.
Man, Roach was asked about the fight, why would he not respond to the question?

Just because he responded to the question, you would immediately conclude that Roach/Pacquiao are not focused on the fight? What kind of conclusion is that?
