  • Comments Thread For: Roach: Shane Mosley Has Trouble With Speed/Movement

During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach gave his thoughts on the May showdown between WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. As much as Roach would like Mosley to win, he think Mayweather’s speed and movement will be too much.

    4 Roach

Since the very beginning that I heard about Pacquiao fighting clottey, I automaticlly said Manny is gonna Knock him out. & he still might just knock him out. But now im going 4 Clottey because these dudes seem 2 be more focused on the Mayweather-Mosley fight then their own. It'll be the funniest thing in the world if Clottey goes in there beats him, roach would look like such a ****head.

I think if Shane wants to be successful in this fight he will have to be smarter then he has ever been in the ring.Mosley cant let his emotions get in his way in this fight.Smart aggression is the key to victory for Shane.
Mayweather will have to be at his best.I think we all know he will.Great fight.

Everybody is focused on Floyd/Shane because its competitive

Roach has already said Clottey isn't very good, it keeps Pacquiao active so its good and Pacquiao is always exciting to watch so i'm not complaining

Yeah Cotto troubled him with his speed. BIG TIME. He beat Shane to the punch ALOT.

Wow. You swear the reporter ran into roch, asked that one question, the left before roach could say anything else. The predictions on the Floyd/Shane fight was most likely part of a bigger interview. most likely it was asked at the very end of the interview.

I do agree with you to a degree, though. I too find it interesting that these two camps (Mayweather and Pacquiao) are talking so much about each other, like some sort of "pre-hype....hype".
