To this day, Byrd is one the fighters who were the most effective against Vitali, so it's not hard to believe the Toney of 2003 beats up Vitali.
lol,,byrd was so effective he lost just about every round. any version of toney gets picked apart by any version of vitali. only a moron would think otherwise

Everybody who is not a Klit nuthugger will tell you : they are effective, they dominate, but they are boring. Even with Vitali retired, the division can't really be in a worse state. Vitali is boring because of his style, and Wladimir is boring because he is overly defense minded (chinny). I don't say they're boring because I resent them : I resent them because they're boring. Huge difference. Vitali is so ugly to watch : awkward, bad technique, Joe Calzaghe like punching sometimes, bad foot work, his mouth is wide open from the very first round to the last... Just horrible. I don't like watching Vitali, but since he has a belt and the best contenders out there have to go through him, I'm kinda forced to watch him. Wlad is different. Huge potential, but boring.

Anyway, I respect your opinion, and I hope you respect mine, because it has nothing to do with hatred, and I'm not even American...
Don't forget my point, if we go back to the beginning in this thread, was that since Byrd was effective and pretty successful against Vitali, which I have proven, a better version of Toney could have given him a tough and close fight. That has nothing to do with hate as far as I'm concerned, but the Klit nuthuggers prefer to say Vitali would have crushed him and blablablablabla. It sickens me.
I acknowledge your right to find anyone you want to boring. But when you call Vitali Klitschko a "*****" I can't really take you seriously. Any man who can stand and trade toe-to-toe with Lennox Lewis and Corrie Sanders is no *****, my friend. It's very easy to say that from behind the comfort of your keyboard. If you want to be taken seriously, you should tone down the rhetoric, because statements like that mark you as hater, though you claim not to be. And whether you like him or not, Vitali is sure-fire Boxing HOF material. That doesn't mean you have to like him. I wasn't a fan of Ali's either, but I'd be ****** to say he wasn't great. He obviously was.

You make a lot of sweeping generalizations: "Everybody who is not a Klit nuthugger with tell you." Really? So anyone who enjoys a Klitschko fight is a "nuthugger?" Grow up. You can call me a "nuthugger" if it makes you feel better, but I love watching Vitali fight, and I also like watching Wlad, but admit under Manny he has gotten a little too cautious (though when I saw Wlad KO Calvin Brock at Madison Square Garden it was very exciting). What you call "ugly" as far as Vitali's style I call brutally effective. You see how Vitali confused and destroyed Arreola, who has had little problem beating everyone else he's faced, by utilizing footwork that people said he didn't possess, and by throwing punches from all kinds of angles. If you really appreciate boxing, you will appreciate what Vitali brings to the table, even if it isn't Ali-like in style. There is more than one way to fight, and Vitali is unique.

Bull****. 2003 Vitali would have no issue whatsoever with 2003 Toney.

Goosen along with ANYBODY else who thinks Toney will do ANYTHING but get crushed within 9 is deranged. The dude is 5"9 weighs 250 and is in his 40's he was a carrear middle and supermiddleweight.Peter handled him with ease YEARS AGO and I really don't want to see him HURT.I would like to see one of the brothers fight him though, after getting ko'd Toney will realize that maybe the Klitshko's are way better than he thought or Toney himself is alot worse than he believed he was.

For those who think Toney could win, lets have a new champ!
For those who think Klitschko would mop the floor with Toney, lets do it so Toney will STFU.

The only "risk" Vitai faces in this fight is receiving criticism for kicking the **** out of a fat, 42 year old, brain damaged blown up middleweight.

No offense to Toney, he's an all time great.

But give me a fuckin break. No way he beats Vitali, not even a 2003 Toney.

Here is the typical mark of ****** *******s who think they possess the truth and try to discredit everybody who have a different opinion. It means : ''only a moron would think otherwise than me''. Pathetic. Byrd gave Vitali trouble, Johnson gave Vitali trouble, and a 2003 Toney was slicker than both these guys. Vitali can't adjust to slick fighters : fact. So a 2003 Toney gives a competitive fight to Vitali, no doubt.
