Sorry, but that's crap. They would fight Toney if there was something to gain from it, but Toney hasn't looked good in so long that beating him will only get them criticism from the likes of you, from the same people who say they want the fight. Like, "Vitali beat up a shot old punchdrunk Toney, so what?" I can hear it now.

    You haters make me laugh.

The only risk is to James Toney's health. Thankfully the fight probably won't ever happen and shouldn't.

Exactly my friend. The same people saying VK is "ducking" Toney (ludicrous) would be the first ones criticizing him for beating up a shot old fat man when it was over. The haters think they are clever, but really they are transparent.

You know, one thing the Klitschkos have proven is that they "duck" NO ONE.

And some people won't even credit them for that.

The idea that they are "ducking" James Toney is so ****** that it's hard to believe anyone would even say it out loud.

If there was some reason to fight Toney, they would do it in a minute. But Toney has ****** for years. When was his last truly impressive fight? Against Ruiz when he was on steroids?

The last time I was truly impressed by James Toney was when he fought Evander Holyfield. That was around 7 years ago.

I for one would LOVE to see Vitali vs. Toney. Vitali just fought four younger men - Toney is close to Vitali's age.

There's nothing wrong with this fight, especially since Toney has been bragging for so long about how the "sisters" are afraid of him.
Silliest post in the thread. Toney is just as shot as Roy Jones is, and Jones looked better against Ruiz than Toney did, without the aid of steroids. Do you also want Vitali to fight Roy?

Second silliest post in the thread. There are about 50 more credible opponents for Vitali than Toney, most notably Povetkin.

None of those are close to Povetkin in terms of credibility. Chagaev would also be more credible than any of those three. And Povetkin and Chagaev are both available now.
