Okay, but I'd have to disagree about solving his defense when big Vit landed 300+ punches.

James Toney's genius in the ring is undeniable. Vitali's fear of Toney will force him into an early retirement after Haye.
Your boy isn't boxing anymore, looks like Vitali scared him into UFC, and well everyone knows what happens next.

        .

Toney is shorter BY FAR than Arreola and almost as fat, he's approaching at least 240 right now, so there you go.

Something I read some months ago in a German newszine (Focus IIRC): Wlad & Vitali were in a training camp in the US (perhaps for the Arreola fight). They were approached by a polite man, whom they did recognized when he removed his glasses. Toney politely asked both brothers for a bout. It was a short, friendly talk, but the gist was, that Toney wanted to round out his carreer with a fight vs. a Klitschko.

My guess would be for a final payday before retirement.

And, BTW, the fight probably would be in Germany for sales reasons, and there is no arena for 100,000 people in all Europe. The biggest one is Spain: Barcelona with 98,000, and Germany: Dortmund with 81,000 seats. Sorry, Goossen.

the fact that an old fat toney is still sort of in the frame just goes to show how shit the HW division is right now

Really, how is Toney in the frame? Unless Haye decides to give him a shot to fight someone he can beat.
