The fight will have certainly ended with a TKO/KO win by Hatton if it werent for the the timely interfering by ref Cortez everytime Hatton seems to be taking Floyd where he wants him to be.



The referee should be at least honored by Floyd fans as he exerted extra effort in refereeing while at the same time making sure that Floyd can execute his plan.

You and everyone else that made this excuse after the fight are idiots. Why can't you guys see that the only way Hatton could land punches was if he held and hit or wrestled? Well, not only cortez won the fight for Floyd. Floyd had all the advantages, cos he dont take no risks.
He fought in his own backyard. His choice of weight. He talks to the ref about Hattons dirty tactics, so that the ref would miss Floyds nasty elbows. He almost made it a fight he couldnt lose, unless something really drastic happened in the fight.

Why are people speaking as though Cortez didn't warn Mayweather in the fight, I watched it just the other day. The reason Hatton was deducted a point was because he threw Mayweather into the robes and tried hitting him in the back of the head.

Hatton was simply spanked in that fight. It became funny to watch when Floyd just had his hands dropped waiting for Hatton to walk in range so he could tag him with lead right hands.

If the fight is 140 and in england then i had no doubt that what happen to kostya tszyu will happen to floyd.

Hatton was holding Kostya's right arm EVERY chance he got. If that fight happened anywhere else,Hatton would not have been allowed to hold every opportunity he could.There is a reason Kostya was paid more money to have the fight in the UK instead of the States or his home.It was more of a wrestling match than boxing.Hatton made a career out of that style,and Hatton was not allowed to fight like this outside of his home.He was getting his ass kicked in when he had to employ a different strategy...
