ufc is just two big sweaty mean rolling around on the floor tea bagging each other then a happy ending at the end of the fight...the looser gets butt ****ed...My wife recently brought home the new Ring 2010 Almanac, and on the back cover it has an HBO ad showing Kelly Pavlik, Juan Manuel Marquez, Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather, Wladimir Klitschko, Manny Paquiao, Shane Mosley, Vitali Klitschko, Andre Berto, and Chad Dawson. Anyway, what does UFC have that can even try to compete with that lineup?
Just saying...

There are a lot of MMA fighters who can fill up a book, but obviously if you're hating on MMA off GP then it's kinda pointless to debate...My wife recently brought home the new Ring 2010 Almanac, and on the back cover it has an HBO ad showing Kelly Pavlik, Juan Manuel Marquez, Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather, Wladimir Klitschko, Manny Paquiao, Shane Mosley, Vitali Klitschko, Andre Berto, and Chad Dawson. It ain't going anywhere bro lol...
Just like in the 70s when there was a flux of Boxers being bred who ended up fighting in the late 70s, 80s, and so on, the same is happening with MMA. People now train to specifically fight in the UFC, Strikeforce, etc. There are just about as many MMA schools today as there are Boxing gyms (or some Boxing gyms have actually broadened their schools and opened MMA classes). Hating on it is one thing, but MMA is in no way shape or form a fad.
The UFC alone has been in existence for close to 20 years and went from a $2 Million company to a 9 figure company (something a fad doesn't achieve).Comment

The TS and responses bashing MMA are hilarious, they get worse every time i come here. But i'm glad to see some intelligent people commenting in the thread too. The main reason, imo, that MMA is doing better right now is because the top fights are almost always put on and the fans get what they want. And for whoever said it, MMA/UFC will not "fizzle out"...hate to break it to you.
And yes the UFC has enough stars to fill a magazine ad...dumb questionComment

I suppose you're right. However, i still think it's an illusion. And i will never ever ever acknowledge that bull*****. Anti-MMA for life. LoL.It ain't going anywhere bro lol...
