I do remember there were some polls on whether Spinks and Forrest could beat Mayweather, but certainly nothing about ducking.

      1. De La Hoya or Casamayor

      2. Marquez rematch or Guzman

      3. Avenge your loss against Morales or fight Raheem

      4. Hatton or Bradley

BTW it's easy to cop out and call someone a nuthugger instead of dis*****g their points. Why do you dodge my question?
      1. Cotto or Hatton

      2. Baldi or Margarito

I can easily play this same game. But Im not here for that. I dont give a **** about none of that.

For every fighter there will be fighters that they couldve or shouldve fought. YES OR NO?

The one wasted fight Pacquiao has had for the last few years was the Barrera rematch, when he should have realistically fought the rematch with Marquez, Soto, Valero or Guzman instead. The Barrera rematch was pretty pointless. It was a guy who had just lost and had gotten obliterated in their first fight. Not a lot of need for that one.

But to answer your question.....could pac have faced those guys....yes, but he is the type to go out and face the best. Lesser fighters would have taken the easy route and fought the guys you suggested, but Pac is not like that.

Should pac have faced those guys....Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!! Pac made the right choice in each instances, and I dare you to prove me wrong.

Well he did, for $, which is the right reason unless you are brain dead (as all of NSB seems to be these days).

The bigger argument people make is that he had good welterweights to fight instead of going to up to 147 to fight De La Hoya.

I haven't really had a problem with anything Mayweather has done other than fighting Judah, and retiring instead of fighting Cotto.

The proposed rematch tour against Oscar and Hatton pissed me off too.

For now, Marquez wasn't the best opponent, but it was after a long layoff, and made good $, and now he's fighting Mosley, which is awesome.

If he fights Pacquiao after this, I won't hear of anyone bringing up who he ducked at the lower weights anymore.

As a Floyd fan I get it. I get what hes doing. Hes going after the biggest money fights. Would I like him to fight Williams YES. Will he no.

Hes already signed to fight the Number 1 WW and the P4P Number 3. Thats good enough for me. Pac is next hopefully.

                      Easy

Baldomir because he was the #1 WW at the time. I said it then and I will say it know. Floyd made the right choice.....and this is coming from a guy who prayed to see a Floyd vs Judah fight. As much as I wanted it....It was only right to fight Baldy first.

Hatton or Cotto.....easy. Hatton because he is a big money fight, and brings lots of fans. Right choice by Floyd.

BTW Im glad you brought this up because this is what seperates a fan of boxing from a fan of a fighter. I have no problems giving non-biased opinons on guys I dislike and/or rivals of my favorite fighter

                      FWIW

Hamed is my ***** and I will ride with im to the end. I hate barrera with a pashion but fact is this; Barrera is one of the greatest FW of all time and above Hamed as far as greats in that division.

I have never liked Floyd's attitude since I began following him in 98 but the fact remain is that up until I saw Pac vs Cotto, he had one of the greatest/most dominate performance over another top fighter in his class (corrales) that I have ever seen in recent times. He is also Top 10 one of the most skilled fighters I have even seen since I have been watching boxing.

See its like this.....fans of the sport have no problems given credit where credit is due. Posters like you get on my nerves because you constantly change history to fit an agenda. You also go outta your way to spit ignorate **** just because you don't like a fighter. There are alot of fighters I don't like but I don't try and take away from what they do in the ring. Real Boxing fans don't do that.
