I like Shane and I am glad he is getting a shot at a big payday BUT everyone seems to forget that he has admitted to cheating against De La Hoya. A lot of people that are giving Shane accolades and "atta boy" are the same people that are condemning Margarito (about the hand wraps) and Manny (for su****ion of using PED's).

If Shane can get a second chance then you should definitely lay off Manny (no proof) and be willing to give Margarito a chance.

youre right. but hasent he been retired for two of those years, and beat the most popular names in all of his last fight besides JMM? the reason ur hating is becasue u want his goal to be to step up to anybody and beat everybody no matter the risk money or anything. his goals were probably to be the most profitable boxer in the last four years which i venture to say he was. u just said why would he fight a less profitable more risky guy when he can pick up more money fighting other cat. i thought delahoya was a top elite boxer, ricky hatton was on the tip of everybodies tounge for a while, baldomir was the wbc champ. jjm was regarded by many as a elite boxer? why not pick up easy money. respect the hustle and u wont be a hater anymore!

if he wants to pick up easy money and easy fights i have no probleme with that. i do however have a problem when he tries to put himself in with the elites when he is not, or when fans like u try to put him in with the elites when he is not...

it's easy to see why everyone in the division is avoiding williams. he's big and strong and young and talented. if you're a boxer and you're on the said division, you will avoid him too.

Unfortunately Paul Williams doesn't offer anyone a big pay day. Until Williams becomes a household name or attracts a bigger fan base, he guys at the top have no need to risk fighting him. Too much risk and too little reward.

Unless Shane cleans out the division, he is not the best WW. Cotto beat him and he acts like that fight never happened. Before the Cotto fight, he wasn't considered the best then so what makes him feel he's the best now. I think Shane's delusional after beating a damaged chin as defense first Margarito. Cotto clearly showed he could out box Shane and not slug it out with him. Margarito wasn't the same fighter we saw dismantle Cotto the night Shane beat him. These guys might appear tougher than nails but you keep taking excessive head shots and punishment, it will catch up to you sooner or later. Shane is good and here is no denying it but he has been beaten by someone that used boxing against his brawling.

shane already cleaned out the division, he beat the man that beat him and that man margarito was unified champ. . we all know how cotto lost to margs and how mosley lost to cotto, vastly different types of losses, mosley had cotto running for his life towards the end , you match them up now mosley stops him inside the distance garunteed,and cotto was destroyed by margs then mosley whups margs in dominant fashion. other than mosley, only cotto and margs have faced the very best guys atwelter and those guys are history especially cotto. manny and floyd have nothing on mosley, just look at whom those guys have fought theres no compaarison at all.shane is more legit than manny and floyd combined, hes lost but when you fight the best your bound to lose.

People have Floyd all wrong. He is a business man and a Boxer.
Those roles require two different mind frames to conduct your
dealings in any industry successfully. I know this because I
deal with different ventures. Money Mayweather is just an
identity for him to get noticed and have people talk about him
and he likes the role of the bad guy because when he first
began his pro career he tried everything to get the acceptance
of the fans and his peers and it never was enough so he is now
doing him. In the ring he is very professional and respectful to his
opponents. The business is very competitve and you have to
fight your way to the top and be on point at all times because
people don't try to look out for you only mainly for themselves.
Perfect example is Miguel Cotto. He was riding high and the
minute he loss then all of a sudden he is a side of beef. I always
believed that Mosley should have been where Floyd is because
Mosley was something special when he first hit the seen but
the fact he didn't conduct his business properly had him
chasing Floyd and Pac for a big fight when in actuality he
paved the way for them.

manny and floyd are handled fighters as good as they are and protected, mosley is the opposite mosley is a throwback fighter, a gladiator the other 2 just fight for fame and career molsey is head and shoulders above manny and floyd, as hes faced the very very best out there something manny and floyd have not done especially latley.
