great post.

floyd and manny are very talented but greatness is decided in the ring and they have both been very protected especially in the later parts of their careers.

floyd not taking on the best, and manny just taking on oponents who fit his style. back in the day that wouldnt work, so you cant compare floyd and manny to the all time greats nor call them all time greats until they step up and prove themselfs.

shane has been doing that his whole career, always wanted to fight the best and never avoided someone bcuz of their style. as far as legacy goes floyd and manny really dont deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as shane.

UMM its very funny to read all this pac nuthugger post saying pac is #1 when pac hasn't fought a fighter allowed to come in at the welterweight limit. Granted he fought cotto but cotto wasn't allowed to come in at the welterweight limit and not to mention he fought a shot cotto not mosley when mosley was more than willing to face him even at 140. Now on to pbf he shouldn't be the top guy neither he hasn't fought any ww guy yet but he deserves more credit on beating a year younger dlh at 154 his weight and when dlh was a little fresher not a weightdrained dlh or by facing an undefeated ricky hatton. Note this are the fights that pacquiao is so praised for and pbf criticize for when he did it first.

Mosley hasn't fough in a year not becuase he has ducked fights cough, cough like pacquiao ducked him. Finally we will see pacquiao face a guy that truly comes in at the welterweight limit and we will see how he comes out of that fight but is still a lazy clottey who doesn't have a good workrate. Now finally we will see pbf fight a ww and not just a ww the #1 welterweight in the world. Ohh and to people saying cotto beat SSM umm the fight was pretty close i had mosley winning by 1 round any surprise he won?? just look at the location of the fight.

if clottey who lost the fight when he clearly put up an ass whopping on cotto what would make the judges give the decision to mosley when it was a close fight.

Margo was the #1 WW and Mosley beat him. He is the #1 WW, anybody that says the Shane isn't the most dangerous fight for any of the top WW. I hear all opinions that he is too old, on a layoff for two long or that he beat a washed up Margo. I don't see ppl lining up to fight Shane if he is so beatable.
