floyd and manny are very talented but greatness is decided in the ring and they have both been very protected especially in the later parts of their careers.

floyd not taking on the best, and manny just taking on oponents who fit his style. back in the day that wouldnt work, so you cant compare floyd and manny to the all time greats nor call them all time greats until they step up and prove themselfs.

shane has been doing that his whole career, always wanted to fight the best and never avoided someone bcuz of their style. as far as legacy goes floyd and manny really dont deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as shane.

wow this is a bold post and I'm a hugh sugar fan I agree with some of this post but manny and floyd are great fighters and deserved and earned the right to be metion in with other greats sugar included

This fight between Mayweather and Mosely has the potential to be what Taylor vs Wright played out. Winky Wright was expected to box and move around the entire fight while Jermain Taylor was expected to bulldoze through because he was bigger, stronger, longer reach and a natural middleweight. Winky Wright showed solid boxing skill but he also showed that a true boxer can dig down and take the fight to an opponent when forced to. Taylor was throwing bombs in that fight but Winky stood right there and exchanged with him just to prove that Taylor couldn't knock him out.

Floyd and Shane both have the skill set to defeat each other. On fight night it will come down to which fighter is able to execute their game plan the best. One fighter will prevail and it won't be with just one style of fighting on that night. Shane has the physical advantages but not by much. Floyd will have the edge in defensive movement but it won't matter much either. Both fighter's are going to be pushed because neither has faced what they are about to face come May1.
