youre right. but hasent he been retired for two of those years, and beat the most popular names in all of his last fight besides JMM? the reason ur hating is becasue u want his goal to be to step up to anybody and beat everybody no matter the risk money or anything. his goals were probably to be the most profitable boxer in the last four years which i venture to say he was. u just said why would he fight a less profitable more risky guy when he can pick up more money fighting other cat. i thought delahoya was a top elite boxer, ricky hatton was on the tip of everybodies tounge for a while, baldomir was the wbc champ. jjm was regarded by many as a elite boxer? why not pick up easy money. respect the hustle and u wont be a hater anymore!

i recall shane taking lower money fights with vernon and winky twice each because they were his most competitive fights. he is in it to be the best, of course at this point he deserves to make the most financially of his decisions.

i respect floyds skills, but i dont respect his mouth or him ducking elite competition because he wants to be put in the categorie with leonard duran hagler and hearns who all fought the best and never ducked no one.
floyd is not in that elite column..
another thing, floyd is in trouble for this fight, no way he pot shots shane to a decision, shane is too active, fights in combinations and floyd wont have any pop to keep shane from doing what he wants offensively.

Mosley acts like he NEVER lost to Cotto,as if that fight never happened.He was going life and death with Mayorga till that last round ko.All I'm saying is beating a fighter who already had 4 losses and had his kryptonite(plaster) removed before the fight doesn't convince me that Mosley should be rated above Cotto.Cotto lost to Manny and a fighter with plaster in his hands.I think Clottey could beat Mosley and if Shane didn't folow the Nazeem Richardson"hit ,hold,hit hold"(Hopkins,A Berto,A Ward) gameplan to CHEAT I don't think he beats Margo.

it's easy to see why everyone in the division is avoiding williams. he's big and strong and young and talented. if you're a boxer and you're on the said division, you will avoid him too.

People have Floyd all wrong. He is a business man and a Boxer.
Those roles require two different mind frames to conduct your
dealings in any industry successfully. I know this because I
deal with different ventures. Money Mayweather is just an
identity for him to get noticed and have people talk about him
and he likes the role of the bad guy because when he first
began his pro career he tried everything to get the acceptance
of the fans and his peers and it never was enough so he is now
doing him. In the ring he is very professional and respectful to his
opponents. The business is very competitve and you have to
fight your way to the top and be on point at all times because
people don't try to look out for you only mainly for themselves.
Perfect example is Miguel Cotto. He was riding high and the
minute he loss then all of a sudden he is a side of beef. I always
believed that Mosley should have been where Floyd is because
Mosley was something special when he first hit the seen but
the fact he didn't conduct his business properly had him
chasing Floyd and Pac for a big fight when in actuality he
paved the way for them.
