you must not have seen the jlc fight becasue PBF, who has had sholder and hand issues, didnt use his right straight after the 4th round. true, that doesnt matter, however who got the w is different that who should have got the w. maybe floyd should have one w on his record but shane mosely is no jlc. shane is sloppy and will be out boxed and frustrated by mayweather who will come in this fight faster and lighter then recent fights.

No one can say how a prime Ali would have done against a prime Holmes, its all speculation. Both fighters did great in their eras. If Holmes wasn't so great then why did he hold the belts longer than any other champion in history with successful title defenses? He beat the best that was out there during his prime.

i can respect that how i like to rate frighter is by the fighters they was in with i just feel guys that ali was in with would have beatin holmes in they hey day

the sport has changed. either get with it or move to mma. mayweather is quoted as saying he wants to be able to talk to his kids when hes done with boxing. god bless him ali cannot. you heard of joe louis, you know what he was doing after dominating the sport during his time, infomercials. broke, relying on loans and died broke and broken. im all for the glory of the sport and being able to say he ****** with the best but thats not his fortae (msp). ALI and Mayweather will be in the same sentence when its all said and done with regard to what they did in the ring.

Mayweather didn't have to fight Mosley. He could have opted for a fight with Paul Williams, Kermit Citron, Winky Wright, Andre Berto, or Yuri Foreman. Shane Mosley is not the only option he had. Mosley just happened to be the guy that Mayweather could make the most money fighting at this time next to Pacquiao. Not only will Mayweather make in excess of 20 million but he stands a chance to become a world champion again. Money and belts are Mayweather's main motivators for boxing. Mayweather doesn't have a boxing style that needs to display he's the toughest but he does have a style that displays he's hard to beat. I would be willing to bet you that if he beats Mosley and adds another belt to his collection, he will sit back and see how things turn out against Cotto and Foreman. If Cotto is successful and beats Foreman, Mayweather will go after him to get yet again another 20 million plus pay day and belt. It's all about strategy. There is too much money to be made to be scared.
