Comments Thread For: Mayweather: "Mosley is Desperate, Wants a Final Payday"

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has fired off on his May 1 opponent, WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley. Mayweather, during a recent interview with the Grand Rapids Press, called Mosley a desperate fighter who is looking for one final payday. Turning the tables a bit, Mayweather says it is Molsey who had no choice but to accept their fight. Mosley has said in several interviews that it was Mayweather, because Manny Pacquiao was not an option, was forced to take their fight.

It's true, but at the same time Mosley's still one of the top dogs in the game.

Damn thats low even for Mayweather... Mosley is such a gentlemen I'd hate to see him pissed off and off his game, he might get ****** on Mayweathers ass. But then again that would be playing into Mayweathers hand. He fired up Gatti like that as well

I doubt this **** talking is gonna get to Shane - He's already got a great legacy, he knows Floyd probably won't hurt him, he's retiring soon, and he's getting his money. I'd say he got nothing to lose.
