Floyd was forced to take this fight,he was cornered.




Can any of his fans logically tell boxingscene posters and me what other opponent currently open to fight can rake in more $$$,$$$,$$$$ and PPV'S then mosley?




I dont know what stats is floyd trying to put out stating he could of taken other opponents worldwide and made more money.....????

1) Floyd doesnt fight outside of vegas (fearing robbery)
2) Boxing is a bigger draw in the US
3) And int'l fighters wont add credit under his belt= lesser $$ for further negotiations on the table.
4) And how is it that the guy he is fighting (mosley) is helping him in future negtotiations vs Pac? He needs mosley more to sell ppvs!!!

there all great fighters but not elite. especially not vargas hoya and mosley. entertaining when there in against weak opponents or getting ko'd big money makers yes. that 0 means alot when you put a 40 on the other side.

and mosley did'int mosley reacord at lw was i think 33or 34 with like 30 to 31 ko's so who had the bigger punch and once again you not beating mosley with that style

Molsey is a fast brawler with decent power who cannot
get around guys who can use a jab and box him from the
outside. That's why the first Oscar fight Mosley won because
Oscar opted to fight Mosley's fight but the rematch when
Oscar boxed he arguably won that fight. Boxers will always
have the one up on Mosley. I like Mosley and the beating he
put on Margarito was GREAT but that style don't work against
Mosley.

Mayweather knows what he's facing. You can say what you want about him but he's a very smart fighter and always comes in prepared.

i guess theres a disparity between what i consider as elite and what the ppl actively involved in boxing consider as elite. i consider elite as the top of the weight. nobody can tell me why these guys are considered elite. especially vargas and hoya. i take nothing away from them dudes give them all the credit in the world but if there elite so is mayorga and glen johnson.

Shane my need a big pay day but it was Floyd who was forced into the fight.
After the Pac fight didn't happen, the only legit fight was Mosley.
You know if Floyd could have got away with fighting someone with low risk high reward, he would have, but he knew the fans wouldn't have any of that.

to be considered elite u have to be the best of the best. the top dog. bernard hopkins is elite. hoya and vargas the best of the best..... obviously not. i guess paul williams is elite too and vic darchiniyan
