Here is a lousy theory. Would you box someone of an opposite sex? Probably not. For gays, men are of "opposite" sex, so they do not like to box them.

This theory does not explain the phenomenon of Ruiz, but only at a first sight. Note however that Ruiz wrestles and hugs men, not boxes them! So Ruiz's case supports the theory rather than contradicts it.

Itchy Sensation says he's a boxer.

And appearently it IS a good subject: people keep on bump-ing it.

Some are just keeping the thread alive by saying they do not like it.
KJ, it's not often you and I agree on something, but you're right - I'm amazed to come on and here and, at least once a week guaranteed, find this thread bumped back up to the first page. How long ago did I make this one anyway? It was at least 350 posts ago, however long that was.

The thread that will not die!

.....Anorak, are you gay? I'm not busting on you either. Your fixation with gay boxers and some other comments you have made lead me to believe that you are. Would you like to out yourself on boxingscene?

Because boxing is a mans sport!

Thankfully this forum has to be the most intelligent and reasoned boxing forum I've ever come across. Sure, I had a moan about the "leech" thing, but here people really wanna talk - and talk properly - about boxing.

There are no gay boxers because boxing is a mans sport. A gay person may break a nail.

                  maybe gay, but definitely transseksual

Being gay doesn't mean they see the others as the opposite sex, but means that they have sexual and loving feelings to people of the same sex.

I don't know if Nong Toom (Parinya Charoenphol)from Thailand is gay, but he was a travestite and now a transseksual. Now "she" is a boxing coach and "she" doesn't enter the ring anymore because it's not allowed for women to box. A movie is made about "her", named Beautiful Boxer (2003) which now will be shown at the International Film Festival Rotterdam . I shall see this one.
