Don't Italian guys kiss each other and stuff? most of them are pretty tough i'm sure. anyway, the ad was probably just a publicity thing, it's like them saying look at us, we're moving into the 21st century. there's a huge amount of suicides, and unexplained deaths in the british army, they're probably just trying to come across in a better way.

There are very few openly gay men in any popular forum. The few that there are tend to be comedians where gayness is funny therefore 'excusable'. Sports are testosterone led pursuits for armchair fans' to live vicariously through and so ****sexuals in sports do not get too far in the old 'making 10million through marketing' game. Truth is that sports are entertainments as much as 'Will and Grace'. What the partakers do in their beds is irrelevant. What the fans think of them is everything.
