this is kind of a dumb thread. There is plenty of gay athletes, when the last you heard of one being open about it? Never, because pro sports would net accept them. Im SURE there is at least a few gay boxers.

I'm an open-minded guy and all the more power to any limp-wristed lilly's who want to try their hand at the fight game.

Even though it's ignorant, if I ever saw a straight boxer getting slammed by a cakeboy I would definitely feel a little embarrassment for that fighter.

i heard rumors that Donald Curry was gay, what does it matter though. i know ****ing and fighting seem to go hand and hand, but, not in pro sports. it should be totally left out of the whole equation. whatever a person does in their private life should be left private, unless it is against the law or it's not consenting.... if it became big in the sport, promoters would have a whole new way of promoting fights........alla mad tv, when they made fun of don king for having an all gay card "saturday night sissy fights", that was funny...... but who cares, there would be more of a insentive for a fighter to train hard so he wouldn't get ko'd by a gay guy. try explainning how you got ko'd by a guy who slaps....

Panama Al Brown is the only gay champion I know of. If there are any gay boxers they don't mention it because it would incite widespread criticism. Furthermore, that's the way it should be. No one cares who you sleep with, so don't talk about it. I would be as uninterested in listening to Mike Tyson talk about fornicating as I would be listening to some fudge packer talk about suckin ****.

I think that last sentence says everything about me.
