yeah but my point is that its not that its a WW thing. Its that he wants a name and the only names available are 140 guys. The only WW's with names available are the Southpaws. Thats why its just a ****ed up catch 22. He wants money. He dont want to take less if its not against a star. Thats why he needs a name. Again, its not like his plan is to ***** out. His plan is just to wait one fight again and then fight a star. People dont get that. They think he just wants to fight all little guys for no reason
Holt is not really name bro... If he wants money then if Aydin beats Collazo fight the "mini tyson" cuz he will get money from that and will be a legit WW... He would definetly get more money fighting him then fighting Holt? Really how is Holt a name? What does he bring to the table? Not a damn thing. You can't tell me he wants to fight a name and mention Kendall Holt.... When did he become a name? Kendall Brook, fight Mike Jones, fight Antwone, unify the titles that IBF champ sucks anyways... But, fight a WW... You can't have 3 fights against JWW since winning the WW title... He basically should just become the JWW champ... if he is going to that...

well I guess Champ is right about me then because Im straight promoter on this ****. No ****in way do I let Berto fight Aydin. He's too tough. Its like the Southpaw ****. I think he can beat Collazo, Quintana, and Aydin but they are too risky for too little reward. Seriously, Im like if he's going to fight someone that tough then you might as well get one of the big dogs. Thats just how I feel. When I say names Im talking about guys like Paulie. If its Holt then it goes back to what I said about waiting. I think they dont want those 3 guys I named so they by time with Holt because they know for sure that the next fight will be a Mosley, Floyd, Margarito, Cintron type fight.
I seriously can dig that but I seem to be the only guy who can on these forums. I think like a promoter and like a boxer. It has to make sense. What if Berto fought Quintana, Collazo, or Aydin, and loss? Then what? Then he's ****ed forever pretty much. If you think there is a chance of you losing then you want it to be against the elite. Thats my point. Dont take that risk. If he loses to Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, Pac, or Floyd then its still all good. Even Cintron is worth it but not those other guys. Id rather by my time with Holt and then its pretty much a gurantee that one of those names will be available. I really can dig that but I know most cant. Im out after this though. Good convo wit you, homie
One last thing I have to add. also let me say this. Collazo & Quintana are legit names. I think he would easily fight them if it was just about the names because I think they see them as on that Cintron level and he's willing to fight him. The problem is that they are Southpaws. They are willing to fight those type of names and thats why you saw him fight Collazo before. That hasnt changed. What changed is the Southpaw thing and I dont think it was the Collazo fight as much as it was the Urango fight.
I think they saw Urango as the perfect fight. The Collazo fight was tough and they didnt want there young inexpericned guy to have 2 back to back tough fights with a Southpaw so they saw Urango as the perfect tuneup. He gives them the Southpaw look to keep Berto ready for Collazo but he should be no threat to win. Then they saw how ****ty Berto looked in that fight and said Hell NO. We arent fighting anymore Southpaws any time soon unless they are the elite, we are forced to, or we have some other quality wins under our belt 1st.
Thats why I say its all a catch 22. Collazo & Quintana are the name guys that they would fight but its the Southpaw thing. Aydin isnt a Southpaw but he looks far too dangerous to not have a big name so its not worth it. Again though, the reason why Im ok with it is only because I truly believe he wants a big fight. See most think he doesnt want those guys and doesnt want the big dogs either. I totally disagree. I think he wants the big dogs and doesnt want to risk not getting those fights just because he lost to the medium dogs who may be just as tough of a fight for him as the big ones.
khan is bein hyped way too much the lads in for a mighty fall maze well throw him in head 1st with a bradley see how he copes his skill and speed are 2nd to none but the chin was suspect long before prescot a mate of mine had him knocked out clean in the amatures and was on his arse every other fight during the bums he was fighting at the begining of his pro reign i am a khan fan saying all this just think the american hype will be a hard fall once hes hit clean

This is the kind of garbage mentality that is turning away fans. Seriously, you aren't a promoter. You are a fan just like anyone else. You shouldn't support this bull**** line of thinking that is preventing great fights from happening. Don't take the risk? Get outta here. If a fighter can't beat the B-Level then what business do they have on the A-level?
