Did you not read my post. I said all blacks in the area I live say it. I specifically said in my last response that I can't speak for others living in different regions of the US.There are probably 40 million blacks living in the US alone. Unless you know every one of them, that's a ****** comment. I don't pronounce ask that way, and neither do any of the blacks I've been around including friends and family. I have heard plenty of other people who are not black consistently pronounce "wash" as "Worsh" along with other grammatical errors. It would be very easy for me to stereotype their race for that but I'm not going to stoop to that level. This thread is racist and insulting which was the intent.
BTW I'm not gonna lie, I didn't really know the TS and just caught onto this being a racist bait thread. I think it had more to do with me giving people on here the benefit of the doubt when responding to questions asked on boxingscene. That and the fact I didn't read the whole thread and my response was to people saying it is ebonics (which I still disagree).Last edited by Khalid X; 02-09-2010, 07:34 PM.Comment

Sure seems like it.
I am curious as to how you reconcile these two ideas. How do you define "ebonics"? If you are of the belief that black people say and pronounce things differently, in a fairly consistent manner, isn't that the very definition of ebonics?Comment
