Why does Floyd always say "aks" instead of "ask"?

      Did you not read my post. I said all blacks in the area I live say it. I specifically said in my last response that I can't speak for others living in different regions of the US.

      BTW I'm not gonna lie, I didn't really know the TS and just caught onto this being a racist bait thread. I think it had more to do with me giving people on here the benefit of the doubt when responding to questions asked on boxingscene. That and the fact I didn't read the whole thread and my response was to people saying it is ebonics (which I still disagree).

        I am curious as to how you reconcile these two ideas. How do you define "ebonics"? If you are of the belief that black people say and pronounce things differently, in a fairly consistent manner, isn't that the very definition of ebonics?
