naah I wouldn't say it is ebonics. I had to practice like hell until I could say it properly. I dont know how to explain it but it's weird. I still have trouble saying it right and only can if I'm talking slow, given a speech or something in which I can focus on saying it right. If I'm having a regular convo, I still go back to saying it that way. Also I don't know If I could necessarily say its a black thing either since Im not too familar with blacks in other regions in the U.S.
I just know most blacks from my area (texas) all say AXE instead of Ask.
BTW....who give a **** TS. Im pretty sure this is just a sideways diss aimed at blacks. We say and pronounce things different....your point is?Last edited by Khalid X; 02-09-2010, 06:38 PM.Comment

Co-sign. Some people pretty much say what they want on this site without repercussions. Of course if they say something like this about Pacquiao the thread either gets deleted or the poster gets banned.Last edited by Calilloyd; 02-09-2010, 07:12 PM.Comment

There are probably 40 million blacks living in the US alone. Unless you know every one of them, that's a ****** comment. I don't pronounce ask that way, and neither do any of the blacks I've been around including friends and family. I have heard plenty of other people who are not black consistently pronounce "wash" as "Worsh" along with other grammatical errors. It would be very easy for me to stereotype their race for that but I'm not going to stoop to that level. This thread is racist and insulting which was the intent.Last edited by Calilloyd; 02-09-2010, 07:11 PM.Comment
