floyd is a genius, people just cant see what this dude is doing in his fights. floyd makes boxing a pure thinking mans game.
and i think that mosley is really setting himself up for failure.
you can see that hes thinking that floyd is some small, scared and weak fighter. floyd is going to turn all this stuff back on mosleyComment

it will be kinda like dlh vs pbf.pbf will bring mosley to punch him then he will outbox him.we all know pbf is gonna win.idk im not really interested.im confused..i think mosley got the skills to make pbf in troubles tho.Comment

floyd doesnt respect anyone in anyway, or he wouldnt be a racist deuchebag.
i respect floyds skills, but he did try to get jmm out of there a few times but couldnt, floyd has no power, he has no pop. soon after he realized he couldnt get him out he did want the rounds..
floyd doesnt have knockout power, and he does not fight in combinations anymore, he pot shots his way to victory, which will lead him to a loss against mosley because shane still fights in combos and is more active....floyd cant win a decision against mosley pot shotting him when shane is scoring points all night long..
mark my words
It will be interesting to see what his stratergy is for the Mosely fight.Comment

I don't get the whole re-match clause thing either... doesn't sound like FMJ in the sense that it indicates him conceeding to a chance of losing. I mean if he wins I wouldn't see him wanting to re-match Shane who will obviously be tough for him, and I don't think most fans would have paid for a re-match of FMJ vs ODLH. IMO he only made a re-match with JLC because of all the negativity out there with so many thinking he lost that one decisevly.
So, what DOES this re-match clause mean to the fans? Just curious, not being snide.Comment

The rematch clause benefits Mayweather more so than Mosley. Firstly in the off chance that Mayweather loses, he will receive another opportunity with even more money on the table the second time around--provided of course that the first fight would be competitive enough.
I heard that the rematch clause came directly from the Mayweather camp. But if Mayweather wins then I don't see him giving the same opportunity to Mosley a second time.
Mayweather's rationale for taking matches works in a certain way. Firstly he asks himself a few questions;
1) How much money can I make?
2) How much money can I make post-taxes?
3) Once I've made my money how do I double it?
4) I wonder if Ellerbe has gotten me onto the new reality show "America's Got talent"...I heard the grand prize is money.
5) Where is all my money?
6) What's the risk versus reward?
and finally 7) Can I get more money?Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 02-06-2010, 05:54 PM.Comment
