Steroids have been around the sport of boxing and its effectiveness can be measured by the fighters who have been caught using them; Vargas, Toney, etc.

Weight advantage is also a dangerous advantage specially if you are fighting a man that does not even belong in the weight class he has already agreed on fighting his opponent in. Add on an opponent not coming in heavier than an already smaller opponent, it is just a recipe for an unfair disaster. We have seen the effects of what weight can do in the 2nd Castillo vs. Corrales fight.

Manny Pacquiao has never been proven to be a dirty fighter nor use PEDs. For the sake of argument though, what is a greater advantage, a dirtier tactic, coming in with a weight advantage or coming in roided?

here is the simplest thing I can tell you

    one is illegal

    one isn't

one is not allowable by any sanctioning body that governs boxing

one actually has stipulations that allow for being over the contracted limits

care to guess which is legal and sanctioned for and care to guess which one isn't?

it doesn't matter if he was fighting a LW, or a WW who wanted him to make 144.

fact is, dude was on the shelf for 2 years, came back, tried to make the 144, couldn't do so w/o draining himself, and THE CONTRACT ALLOWED HIM to come in at 147 or below....
If dlh made 145. Floyd could make 144 easy..

You're not the guy who said a decade is from 2000-2010 are you?

Had Marquez been a welterweight....it would NOT have mattered....yeah it will be just two pounds. But JMM is a lightweight, 146-135 is 11 pounds not 2.

No its not go find that quote. YOU are the guy who said that if Pac turned down 14 days then he is a DUCK. When it was revealed they knew about that from day 1. Only for you to backtrack.

Was this a lightweight fight or a WW fight?

where are you getting your math?

for the record JMM weighed 142 not 146 so its 7 pounds not eleven.
