Yeah, he earns more than Bradley, but if the two continue on the same path that they are on now, Bradley will without a doubt have the best resume and gain more respect in the boxing community.

Let's also keep in mind that Bradley, while he is promoted by Shaw, doesn't have a Frank Warren-esque type of promoter who can get him PPV dates and pimp him out to the public and capitalize off his Olympic pedigree....

Khan is a talented fighter, but he doesn't need to waste it fighting soft opponents.

Because real champions don't vacate their belt the first time a live contender becomes their mandatory. If he didn't feel he was ready to fight punchers he shouldn't have insulted the intelligence of boxing fans by calling himself a world champion. It's because he did that that real boxing fans have lost all their respect for him now. And I speak as one who has frequently defended Khan on these forums until now. But what he's doing now is just indefensible.

If he was fighting Marquez on the basis that Maidana would have a guaranteed fight against the winner, I'd have no problem with it; but GPB have made it clear that they have no plans for Khan to fight Maidana in the foreseeable future - they said they want Khan to fight Zab next, if he beats JMM, which is pathetic. As such it's an out and out duck.

If you care about boxing as a sport, that's completely irrelevant, though as you say it's sad that Bradley doesn't yet earn as much as Khan does. But anyone who cares about boxing as a sport is rooting for Bradley and against Khan now.

Yeah, everyone is rooting for Bradley, well all of the internet guys, but that doesn't change the fact that guys like Gary Shaw (Not Bradley himself) are jealous of Khan's relative fame and riches compared to bradley (who is crimminaly under-exposed and under-paid)

Terry Norris had a glass chin but got into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. It's far too early to tell how good Khan can become under Roach's tutelage, IMO; but I don't like the way he is being steered at the moment. It would have been okay if he hadn't fought for a title and claimed to be a world champion, but as things are, it sucks.

Terry Norris is one of the lucky few, many fighters with weak chins dont make it because the KO losses take something away from them physically, there is only so many times you can get Ko'ed before it takes something away from you.

Khan might be one of the lucky ones but .......

Terry Norris had more ability than Khan to.

I think Khan's chin problems pre-Roach owed a huge amount to his lack of the fundamentals. As such I don't think it will be as big an issue for him as you say.

Khan's whole body has changed since joining Roach. He used to have spindly legs and far too much muscle on his back. Now his legs are sturdier and his back is leaner and more flexible; and as well as improving his punch-resistance, this means his upper body movement, and therefore his defence, is far better now.

He used to keep his hands low and his chin in the air. He now keeps his hands up and his chin tucked in much more.

He had never been taught how to block or roll with punches properly, and his stance used to be all wrong. His blocking is much better, he has started to roll with punches, and his stance and overall footwork and balance have improved dramatically, which has an influence on punch resistance.

He didn't used to clinch when hurt, so that once he was hurt it was easy to hit him with follow-up punches. Now he clinches effectively whenever he takes a solid punch.

He has a superb jab but he rarely used it properly before teaming up with Roach; and he used to swing so wildly that he moved straight onto counter-punches coming back at him, which has the effect of greatly increasing their effective power (analogous to a head-on collision). Now he jabs effectively and almost never throws wildly.

He has sparred intensively with Pacquiao, and stood up well to his punches, reportedly.

Ali was considered chinny in his early career, but had an ATG chin in his late career. Chins can improve.

Lennox Lewis is a good example, early in his career, he had legs like pipe cleaners and got rocked, dropped and hurt quite a lot.

Later in his career, he was heavier, and had bigger legs, and bar the rahman fight, "chinny" lewis took flush shots from morrison, ruddock, tua and vitali.
