Marquez is a harder technical fight, if they are gonna go by the Floyd fight they will be doing a mistake. Don't know his punching power at 140 but Marquez is a fighter that adjusts in mid fight which I think is his biggest asset.

Even on the lost agaisnt Floyd he kept on trying to press the fight even with all the disadvantages that was in front of him

Marquez is noticably slower at 140, which makes his counters slower, Khan has height, speed and reach advantages over Marquez, if he uses them well he should be able to nullify the counters.

Remember Marquez was losing to DIAZ before he got the ko.

Great fight but Marquez did adjust and was patient enough. He is such a technical fighter that it is hard for me to count him out, but we shall see

If this "champion" vacates his title so he can fight a guy with no belt who is fighting above his weight then good, he doesnt deserve the title. Im pretty sure he wont have it for long anyway, i predict his 3 fight deal with Golden Boy will run its course, Khan will win one against a nobody and get KO'd twice then go back to England where Frank Warren will tell him to **** off.

Bradley, Alexander, Holt, Judah, Cayo, and Peterson all beats Khan. He's ranked and holds a title but yet and still people makes an excuse for him being young. He should be fight the top guys in his division, period.

If jmm was fighting bradley you lot woud be lording that fight up saying great matchup. Just cause amirs a few inches taller with a longer reach everyone saying he's too big. paulie can go to ****, hes lost 2 of his last 3 and was outboed for 11 rounds by hatton, and hatton whist a good fighter certainly not the slickest cat in the box.

last year everyone said jmm would kill amir at 135, now at 140 all of a sudden amir taking the safest option, wow talk about hypocriasy just cause amirs had a few wins since that defeat and jmm had 1 defeat to top 2 boxer in world today and of the last decade, and still lasted longer than hatton who i believe was the king of 140s.
                  Good post.

Nothing like being punished with a straight left to ensure you don't make the same mistake again.

I'm sure the Prescott defeat has also made Amir more cautious and will ensure he thinks alot more about his game.

some of you "hardcore" boxing fans make me laugh

Didn't Bradley vacate the wbc to avoid alexander and fight Campbell instead for the bigger payday?
