Mosley would have never lost to Jermaine Taylor. And Hopkins would never KO a fighter with one punch in the way Mosley did to Vargas and Mayorga. I can play that game too.

Mayweather should have to dominate Mosley in order to be immune from the type of criticism that Joe got for not beating Hopkins convincingly. It's only fair. And plenty of people say Hopkins ducked Calzaghe in 2002 and they have a right to stand by that, even though I think Joe would've pulled out of the fight with a freak injury or something if Hopkins decided to fight him.
lololololololololol Which belts? Oh the ring magazine belt? The one magazine which is owned by GBP? A company Bernard is a partner of?
Oh and while people were begging Joe to fight Dawson he fought Jones and Hopkins and ran to retirement. Mayweather is fighting Mosley BECAUSE MOST TARDS WERE BEGGING HIM TO! Now the fight is signed and this **** starts. Man you people make me sick. And has already said, don't ever mention Joe Calzaghe and Mayweather in the same sentence. Ever. Just don't do it.

Also, lets compare the previous fights of each fighter:
Bernard arguably lost vs Winky in a very close decision, Mosley KNOCKED OUT the most feared man on the planet.

Jermain Taylor is an excellent fighter with great skill. Mayorga simply isn't.

Yea but what kills me is that those same 95% fans who say Floyd opponent has zero chance of winning are the same fans who will try to make those wins greater than what they really... If Floyd is really fighting a guy who has no chance of winning then you should not be giving Floyd no credit... Me personally I never gave Tito credit for KO'ing Thiam just cuz I knew Thiam had zero chance of winning... I just find it weird that they downplay his opponent so much before the fight... And, then after the fight they want to upgrade his opponent....

No one gave a **** about Calzaghe-Dawson at the time. He was only "ducking" Dawson after Pavlik lost.

Just becasue a fan believes theire fighter will easily dominate someone doesnt change the fact that Mosley is STILL the Top WW and P4P Number 3 ON THE PLANET.

Its non down playing Shane. Floyd fans dont give damn near anyone a chance to beat Floyd.

I think he beats Pac and Mosley with ease. Are Mosley and Pac the best 2 WW's yes. Are they the P4P Number 1 and 3. YES.

                  GREAT WINS.

I'm not saying that I'm not happy with Mayweather fighting Mosley. I just think the fight should've happened after Mosley beat Collazo and became Floyd's mandatory and called Floyd out on top of it.

I didn't realise these people got to decide how good a boxer may or may not be

Nah but really though, that logic is pretty faulty in my view. Say hypothetically there was a boxer around who was absolutely unbeatable and knocking everyone out in one round, from contenders to fellow hypothetical all-time greats. He fought literally everyone there was and knocked them all the **** out. Would he deserve no credit just because he was favoured to win every time (because people realised how good he is)?
