Only a professional fighter could tell us that. I know Floyd mentioned in the 24/7 that.... that **** was coming back to him by the seconds DURING training camp.

Shane wasnt retired he was just lazy.

you know what he ended up doing? he ended fighting Donny ****in Lalonde and then instead of rematching Marvin, he rematches Tommy instead...8 years after their first fight

and to top that, i thought he LOST to Tommy and guess what, as with the Marvin fight the judges gave it to his ass

was Whitaker coming off a savage plaster beating, and 2 more wars???? thats what i thought

JRO, you only see one side of the coin when it comes to pacquiao, fact
Diaz was never great... nobody says he was... Nobody claims that Diaz was better than Campbell or Casamayor at the time... But, he was undefeated, he was a title holder, and he was ranked in the top 3... But, here is the more important factor Diaz was Pac first fight in his 5 weight-class, yes that is 5 weight-classes... Now lets go to Floyd... his first fight in his 3rd weight-class not 5th but 3rd he fights a fighter who was not in the top 5 but in the top 10 but was coming off a loss... Floyd in his first fight in his 4 weight-class fought a fighter who was not even ranked in the top 10... Think about that for a second... let that sink in... And, tell me was the Diaz fight that bad of a choice as your first fight at a new weight? Lets be real...

Yes Oscar... But, is that Pac fault? Did he make do it? Did he ask him to do it? Was Oscar not planning on fight Cotto at 147 before Margarito ruined it? Was Oscar not planning on fight Hatton at 147 after Pacquiao?

Is a fact that Margarito had plaster with Cotto or you just assuming? Are we not going to stick with facts here?

Leonard was a great fighter and he deserves his props but for those that were old enough to understand, many of us didn't buy his bull****

he was quick to demand a rematch against Duran after he lost so he could redeem himself but he never gave Marvin the same courtesy...he was a great fighter but alot of his antics irritated fight fans

              WOW.

Oscar said he planned on going to 140 after the Pac fight. Did you believe that?

Do you believe Marg DIDNT cheat against Cotto?

Im only 23 but I hear **** about the old timers from my Dad all the time and I read and research ****.

What made me NOT like him was that press confrence that was one of the most awkward and disturbing things I have ever seen. I mean Hagler had his family there for Gods sake. Str8 up Prick.

Hagler-Leonard 2...as a kid, this fight not happening was my first true taste of boxing politics and shenanigans

as i got older and understood more, the more it irritated me...just from the business standpoint...you know how much interest the public had? how much revenue that could have produced?

i think Marvin and Ray were destined to have one of the most epic trilogies in our sport and it didn't happen because of one guy

and to add insult to injury, not getting a rematch irked Marvin so much that it made him quit the sport...cutting short a magnificent career
