We have been through this before....every fighter given the opportunitu to fight Oscar and Hatton will take it....Floyd took it and so did Pac.........

Mosley and ODLH used to call Mayweather the pest when he was at 135 because he was constantly calling them out for a fight @ 147......

Wait for the winner of Cotto vs. Mosley?? Nope. Couldn't have been that because he retired before the outcome of the fight was even decided. So... what's his excuse for not waiting for the winner since Oscar was out of the way?
Actually Mosley/Cotto was in November 2007 and Hatton/Floyd
      was in December 2007.

The tooth ache thing was to make way for the Oscar fight and he didn't have a lot of time to drop from 154 to 147 after he fought Vargas. Plus it was already set in stone that Mosley was gonna take time after that fight so Floyd called him out after knowing that just to look tough.

What about the time he called him out for a fight before 2006....when floyd was @ 135 and SSM was @ 154????????

I'll tell u wat happened? Floyd was not a draw and did not bring money to the table at that particular time....so it was a high risk low reward proposition for Mosley....thats why it didn't happen.....

Pacquiao also chose the safe route after JMM by fighting David Diaz for less money then JMM.

Ahhh....ok then....why ndon't you list the height and unofficial fight night weight of every opponent Floyd has fought in his career.....

You will find the majority are in fact taller and heavier or just plain heavier.........so how can Mayweather possibly be the bigger man???

              • well...Jr is being smart..again

..He doesn't have the confidence to stand in the ring with the top WW..but there is nothing wrong with that. Jr, will have to come up with excuses.

//What make his look so bad are his fans that worships him..again nothing wrong with that...but that just lame.

get back to the old days when the best fought the best
but my thing is that you can't knock one down and help
another one up. I don't agree with Floyd when he says
he is the best that every did it AND I do agree with you
that he should fight the top guys and Mosley is a good
if not the best first step.
Floyd didn't make the better decision because Margo, Cotto, and Mosley were the reason the 147lb division was the hottest in boxing. If Mayweather made the right decision all those years ago, why is he still getting ripped for it by everyone but Mayweather fans?? Because he made the wrong one. And Mosley may be a step in the right direction. But it's almost too little too late. What if the Pac fight can't be made (that's a legit question since both camps say they're not budging on their testing stances)? Who's left? 147 is fizzling out. Cotto is retiring this year. And even if he fights Cotto, Cotto is only a shell of himself. Margarito is done so he's out. Who's left at 147 for May to fight?? No one. 140 is the new 147. He can't fight them or he'll be taking on smaller fighters. There's an old saying, "Strike while the iron is hot." Unfortunately for Mayweather, he decided to grow balls when the iron went cold. His only option is to move up.

Yes Grustler but the point is they've all fought each other at one time or another. I mean Mosley is 9000 mother****ing years old and at this stage of his career he's earned the right to not have to fight someone like Berto but he took the fight anyway, that's what champions do and that's how they behave.

Mayweather came back and fought Marquez?!?!? C'mon even you had to know that was silly. Mosley fought Margarito and Cotto, PWill fought Margarito, Cotto fought Mosley,Margarito,Clottey and Pac...Mayweather couldn't even fight one of them? At one point or another each of these guys has faced each other.
