you obviously don't know much. he took that fight on short notice. he wasn't training to be a boxer or anything. when he actually started taking his career seriously and training he could make 160 easily. he even made 156 agaisnt delahoya so enough with your bull**** about being a natural light heavy. if he's a natural light heavy calzaghe is a natural cruiserweight.

well you said he's a natural light heavy and since hatton walks around at about 200 pounds that makes him a natural________fill in the blank ******.

Thing is i don't see how him and Calzaghe are too different..

            20+ defenses in weak divisions

Bhop has a slight + in that the names on his resume are bigger

But those are 2 names Oscar and Trinidad..

Now lets break it down both are not natural MW

Oscar is 1-1 at MW (really 0-2 as Forbes beat his ass also)

            Trinidad is 2-3 at MW

Both Hopkins and Calzaghe are good fighters but in weak ass divisions

Claiming both divisions are weak so that's that is a little broad. Hopkins fought better opposition at 160 and far better outside their weight classes.

i don't have to know the hows or the whys, or the circumstances surrounding why he chose to fight or when he chose to get serious.....thats his problem not mine...

. i know what i see...i see that he entered boxing as a lightheavy, and scaled down over a year and a half or so to middleweight...and i actually saw a few of his fights before he fought jones for the middleweight title, so i know a little bit more than you think i know...

kudos to him for marking 156 against oscar, but the actual fight itself was a grossly visibly bigger, stronger man beating up on a blown up boy who never dominated anyone at 160...everybody who isn't to impressed knows he should have been marking 175 against jones immediately after trinidad...

he was always very big for 160 if you asked me, and now that he is at lightheavy, looks way natural like thats where he should have been in the first place....

now from entering boxing @ 175, i can see if he scaled down one division, but two?...gtfooh

both divisions were weak and the bernard fought better opposition is only an oppinion especially if u don't count trinidad and delahoya. kelly pavlik and wright had to move up in weight to 170, when did calzaghe make someone come up in weight to fight him?and lets be honest who has bernard beat that calzaghe can't?

You can't pretend opposition doesn't count. And Hopkins fought better opposition at 160. Can you cite examples of Calzaghe's better opposition at 168?

ok you want to call names or you want to debate...cause trust me i can dig in that ass quick fast...you got your pass

now to answer your question...hatton didn't enter boxing as a 200 lb. heavyweight, then scale down to jr. welter...unlike hopkins, who entered boxing as a lightheavy, then scaled down to 160 to beat up on smaller men for an entire career...much to the delight of his excuse making faithful....
