Glen Johnson is a big middleweight. He went on to become light Heavyweight Champion.

bernard is a great fighter but he is some what overrated especially since alot of people seem to **** on calzaghe when their careers are almost exactly the same

Other than lengthy reigns in one division, their careers aren't similar. And I know that one thing is a lot but the rest separates the two.

cause he wasn't in fighting shape? notice how he didn't fight for 2 years after that then started fighting at middleweight when he was actually in training to fight on a regular basis.

He was able to do that because he was in shape. And always finished the stronger fighter, even in his last fight there.
i disagree that he finished up strong against taylor...in both fights he took half the fight off, played catch up, then when he lost on the scorecards wanted to cry robbery...

did you read my earlier post i said he was a freak of nature...a natural lightheavy who can scale down to middle for all that time....he always is the bigger stronger fighter in a majority of his fights and in all but one of his wins....isn't like we don't acknowledge that he has skills...

when does this guy prove that he can beat a visibly bigger, stronger fighter like so many other greats have...?...

not for nothing, but it seems like a lot of people who used to admire hopkins are starting to say what some of us have been saying for a while now, that he is overrated...

they both fought in weak divisions and they both have 20+ defenses the only difference is that bernard fought bigger names that were all known for fighting in lighter divisions than the divison they fought bernard at
