    Brother Naazim has spoken *looooooooooooooooool*

To tell you the truth even though Shane is 38 but with Naazim in his corner is his best chance of winning against Mayweather...

Shane always had physical tools but not the boxing smarts to understand how to use them and off set opponents... May is another skill level then Margarito of course and Shane has to press the issue... but with Naazim I give him a slight chance to be honest

He's been holding THE BELT every welter wants, and as soon as he's forced to fight another live dog, (I think Collazo beat him once already), he gets to just call it off ??? The WBC belt has been out of play for a couple of years now while Berto is allowed to keep developing, but this pullout should not be tolerated by Suliman and Co. with so many good welters ready to jump in the mix. Business is business, and if Dre can't do his job, (a job he's only asked to do a couple of times a year), he should step aside and let the boxing world keep turning.
r u ******e/ how can u offer condolences then **** on the man for taking care of his family. When u have a death in the family or afamily tragedy I hope ur employer is more sypathetic to ur situation than u r being to this man. What u r suggesting is absurd, there is no way in hell that Berto should be stripped for this. He didn't plan on an earthquake destroying much of Haiti. Damn! have a heart

        Berto is a B****!!!

This is a lame excuse not to fight. Unless Berto is planning to go to Haiti to help is people (a lot of non-Hatians flew out), this is not a good excuse to cancel the fight. If anything, he should continue as planned and dedicate this fight to his countrymen.

Sorry, but no sypmpathy from me and I think he's being a little b**** about it. "Boo hoo I'm too sad and worried about my people so I'm gonna cancel my fight and grieve about them in my lavish home in the U.S." Forget about all the people who are either homeless or injured from the earthquake and are still suffering.

          Berto is a B****!!!

And if for whatever reason Berto can't go to Haiti, then he should continue with the fight and donate his entire purse to some kind of relief fund.

That is extremely unfortunate. Family comes before a sport. Now we know why Mayweather-Mosley has been talked about recently, they probably knew Berto was in no mental shape to fight.

My best wishes for Berto and the rest of his family, just a horrendous situation.

Go die in a deep dark hole? No one would give a **** to see me again? You obviously are not a very educated person. At least have the decency to stay relevant to the topic. What a pathetic response. You're obviously one of those people who like to get their aggression out on the internet but would never have the balls to say something like that to my face. LOL!!!

Look man, you can insult me all you want but my comments about Berto were meant to give some perspective on the situation and to point out that there are ways to handle a situtation in a more positive way. In this case, as a fighter who knows what it's like to struggle and come from a third world country, Berto should act strong not just for himself, but for his people. With the amount of money he could make from the fight, he could help rebuild schools, hospitals, homes and feed those that are still suffering.
