I am not gonna accuse Berto of ducking Mosley, but by the same token I feel people have the right to think what they want about the situation. Sincere condolances to Berto - I can only imagine the worry he must have been feeling while waiting on word from his loved ones. However, he did just pull out of a world championship fight with less than 2 weeks to go for reasons not related to injury or illness. Shouldn't he be stripped or penalized by the WBC? He's been holding THE BELT every welter wants, and as soon as he's forced to fight another live dog, (I think Collazo beat him once already), he gets to just call it off ??? The WBC belt has been out of play for a couple of years now while Berto is allowed to keep developing, but this pullout should not be tolerated by Suliman and Co. with so many good welters ready to jump in the mix. Business is business, and if Dre can't do his job, (a job he's only asked to do a couple of times a year), he should step aside and let the boxing world keep turning.
