Pac's biggest problem with many of his detractors is he has not fought the American Black Boxing style. Raheem was a perfect opportunity to do so, yet he opted to face the loser Morales.

Floyd at least fought Baldy and Judah, two different styles of opponent all together. Pac didn't seem to want to have anything to do with a pure boxer.
cotto isn't a boxer? last time i checked, he OUTBOXED mosley.

i agree, pac-may should have been finalized long ago. but both of their egos got in the way. fans will support their fighter of choice no matter what.

the difference is that pac is fighting the tougher fights in the WW division. cotto and now clottey. pbf has been campaigning in ww for sometime now and still hasn't faced a legitamate WW ie cotto, mosley, margarito (at the time) etc.

so if mayweather is a p4p fighter why doesn't he fight pavlik, froch, or dawson? and when they beat him i will say what i saw in that fight is evidence they would always beat him even though he would be fat and ineffective like marquez was vs floyd.
For Floyd to go from 130-160+ is nearly unheard of but for Marquez to go from 130/135-147 is normal and happens all the time. His problem is he chose the wrong guy to fight at 147, I'm sure he would of done a lot better vs a lesser fighter, and even Pacquiao who would of made more errors.

Neither of those examples are unheard of. Marquez fought his career at the lower weights, so for him to move up to WW for the first time ever and at age 36 was ridiculous. If you expected him to still be great at that weight then I don't know what to tell you.

You must not of really watched that fight, that version of Floyd is the toughest version of Floyd for any fighter to beat. He barely made 1 mistake in that fight. Marquez at his best would of had no chance against that version of Mayweather.

Now if Pac didn't want to give him 50-50 then make a counter proposal, dont just move on to an opponent with no negotiation power that you can bully, like Clottey.
of course he's going to lok damn near perfect. he fought a blown up fighter. i'd look perfect against 13 year old.

pac at 146 vs marquez at 144 yea that is a huge error if the commision let that happen and got marquez killed.
