i agree, pac-may should have been finalized long ago. but both of their egos got in the way. fans will support their fighter of choice no matter what.

the difference is that pac is fighting the tougher fights in the WW division. cotto and now clottey. pbf has been campaigning in ww for sometime now and still hasn't faced a legitamate WW ie cotto, mosley, margarito (at the time) etc.
Truth is I dont think Cotto is or was that tough a fight no more, after Margarito and Clottey, Cotto was a sitting duck for whoever got to him first. And despite Cotto's honorable refusal to make excuses, the catchweight was not good for him. Thing is, had Floyd fought Cotto instead of Pac, that would of been an easy win that he wouldn't had gotten a lot of credit for.

I didn't expect him to be great, I expected him to get destroyed, he was fighting Floyd

I have to disagree with you there cause there have been a plethora of people who state he should move up and fight Pavlik. And I dont know why you guys refuse to accept that Paul Williams is not a welterweight he is a middleweight who will likely be at light heavy one day.

catchweight was 1 lb below his weight for the clottey fight. 1 lb shouldnlt make a difference for an elite boxer. if floyd fought cotto and won, i would have still given him props (and i dont really like him anymore). he would get hate, yes, but no different than how pac is getting hate for it.

I am not going to read 13 ****ing pages of this bull**** hurry up and make a point so I can shut it down and we can move on to a different boxing convo.. That it has no Floyd or Pac...

Like Mike Jones, Antwone Smith... Like how would a potential fight go...

What does Amir Khan signing to Golden boy mean?

What about the potential fight with Sergio Martinez-Kelly Pavlik how would that play out?

What is next for Paul Williams?

What makes Harry Greb a better MW all time than Ray Robinson...

Who was a better lightweight at 135 Whitaker or Duran.

Super six all time 140, Tszyu, Locche, Chavez, Pryor, Cervantes, Whitaker. Who wins the whole thing and why?

Why is the bantamweight division so underrated when they have the deepest most skilled talent then any other division?

Who is a bigger a thread to Calderon- Viloria, Gonzalez, Segura, Solis, Sosa, Ioka, Oleydong, Garchia, Mayol, or Joyi? and why?

See I can talk boxing... believe it or not there is more boxing then just Floyd and Pac... So go ahead and make your ****** ass point. So I can shut it down. And, we can discuss boxing.... And, then we can see if you really know your ****...

If Floyd went to 140 and fought IBO Champion Ricky Hatton who had been previously knocked silly into a turnbuckle he'd be criticized as picking the weakest challenge at the weight. Avoiding Tim Bradley, Devon Alexander would not be taken to kindly by the masses.

If Floyd went to welterweight and forced a Post Margarito and post Clottey Miguel Cotto to drain to a 145 Catchweight he would be considered a Fraud and a fake welterweight champion.

If Floyd had 2 close fights with a Mexican warrior like Marquez he would not be let off the hook till he fought him a 3rd time and won clearly. Some would even say he's not undefeated cause he got a gift decision against a Mexican Warrior. like a Castillo perhaps

So simply put, if Floyd followed Pacquaio's route to greatness, he would be considered the biggest Fraud in Boxing. His haters would even come up with names for him like Fraud Gayweather or *****..
WOW..this post is 100% true..and I have never took the time out to look at it like that..but this is very sad..somehow Pac gets a pass..but Floyd gets bashed everytime. FLOYD FANS/PAC FANS/NUETRAL FANS..you all must admit this is the truth..just compare and contrast ::SMDH::
