also i think the BHop-winky decision couldve gon eighter way, but BHop beat calzaghe clearly.

also quartey, and most think winky beat vargas (i do anyways).

winkys resume is way better, the only argument for calzaghe is that he was undefeated.

He also got a rough decision against Jermain Taylor.

Its like this, imagine if Hatton had retired after beating Tszyu,Collazo,Urango and how much more favourable his career would of been viewed.

Imagine if Shane Mosley had stayed a LW or Mayweather stayed a SFW who would of beaten them?

I don't know about legacy but Calzaghe has a better resume...at least Joe can say he cleaned out his division...Winky beat Shane Mosley and a washed up Trinidad, and old Quartey...

Great fighters seek out challenges by moving up if there are none at their own weight class. Having a tidy little career in the comfort zone of your own weight class and beating B class opponents do not impress me that much.

Id give Joe more props if he had 5 losses but had wins over elite fighters in their prime because it would mean he fought the best, not the best available to him in his own weight class.
          I agree wih you.
Calzaghe is a disappointment cuz he could have fight a better opposition.

Calzaghe would have done better than wut people think because,of course he fought a shoter than **** Roy,and an old Hopkins.
But he wasn't a spring chicken himself and def not in his prime.

                I voted Joe C

Not a worshipper of the guy, but he had skills. Winky to me, just had long ass forearms to form his formidable wall defense.

Not much versaitility or skill there, just genetics.

Mosley was an elite WW, Quartey got absolutely robbed against Vernon Forrest and he should of got a clear decision over DLH.

Many people think Vargas,Taylor both lost to Wink

Trinidad who was coming off his destruction of Mayorga.

Joe Calzaghe never showed he was capable of hanging with an elite fighter in their prime because he never fought one, he had enough trouble with an old Hopkins and he is no longer elite. Calzaghe was dropped in both fights with B Hop & Jones.

Calzaghe's resume is so overrated its untrue.
