hahahaha yeah that'd be a brilliant fight. I wonder which one of hattons advisers will suggest that one for him.

I imagine hatton will fight a light-welter at 147, wouldnt surprise me if it was Junior Witter to be honest.

First of all Ricky needs to hang it up. Second I doubt Marquez will fight above 140 again, he looked very soft at 144 and needs to boil down to be at his sharpest, plus he hasn't relinquished any of his belts so I wouldn't rule out him staying at 135. If the fight happens at 140 it would be competitive and if it's in Manchester I might slightly go with Ricky by SD despite his disgusting performance against Manny

Hatton just needs to pick an opponent that compliments his style. he's challenged himself in every one of his championship fights, he should just find someone that he will look half way decent against. so no southpaws.

Cotto has been in a couple of wars lately, and has taken more punishment that Hatton (in the ring) in the past 18 months-2 years so this fight might just be a case of who has less left in the tank.
Both are come forward aggressive fighters so it should be a good fight. 50-50 to me now though.
it actually isnt a bad deal for both fighters, though i would like to see Cotto in one last big fight against someone like Foreman, or even Berto win or lose.

Marquez has no business fighting at 147!

Hatton won the title from a 35 year old Tszyu, who never fought again, and he beat Pauli the feather fisted. With that said he is in reality little more than a club fighter who won a title from an old man and other than that he is a bum. So, now when he comes back he will just be an older version of the same bum.

Tszyu beat a highly rated fighter not long before Hatton beat him. Also B-Hop, JMM and Calzaghe are/were all near the top of the PFP list post 35. He beat Collazo, Urango, Castillo, Tszyu, Malignaggi and he'll beat JMM too. He's won multiple world titles and is a multi-millionaire, guess who the real bum is...yeah you.

Some how this is Mayweather's fault right?

What ever happens Ricky should get no credit as Mayweather didn't for beating him because the fight took place at WW right? lol

Hang'em up Ricky you will be destroyed by any elite. Only fight you should take is rematch VS Pauli.
