Hatton vs Cotto for 2010 anyone?

Yes I like that fight for both....although I think Cotto has a lot more left it would be entertaining. Cotto said two more fights for him..he can fight Hatton and then retire trying to get Foreman's title at 154.

1 year ago i would've said Cotto batters him, but now im not so sure. Cotto got ****ed up by Pac too, and lets not forget he had the brains to run for his life when he got hurt, Hatton done his usual thing of keep on coming forward no matter what tacitc so got finished of much sooner.
Cotto has been in a couple of wars lately, and has taken more punishment that Hatton (in the ring) in the past 18 months-2 years so this fight might just be a case of who has less left in the tank.
Both are come forward aggressive fighters so it should be a good fight. 50-50 to me now though.

There are some decent fights out there for him at 147. He is still a draw and a name for those guys at 147. The fact he is hittable and has been beaten 2 times already by two of the best P4P fighters out there does not hurt his marketability. I think GBP being that they are in bed with Hatton's promotional company would be the front runner for a Hatton fight in 2010. his first fight might be against a JMM at 144 then maybe if Shane can't land the golden goose he get s fight with Hatton @ 147 for a money PPV fight.....Lefty

I doubt Hatton would fight any top 3 WWs considering almost a year layoff.

Yep man the top welterweights are beasts man .Hatton tho I think could have a decent chance because he's only really struggled with southpaws and Floyd .It's just the power of the big WW's tho .If Hatton's chin is gone it could be dangerous tho but good luck to him anyway .Hope he puts the hard work in and some of the extra 7 pounds on his neck muscles.
