While his fight with Clottey might do big, I think both his fights with Shane and Toney both do atleast 1.5 million buys each.

      BTW I know I'm jumping the gun and a lot depends on how good he continues to look but I really see this happening.
      He has a whole country on his back foreal. Every filipino man woman and child knows who he is and what he has accomplished lately so I would say he is pretty damn big

          In short, nowhere near ODLH's level...No one is!

          You do understand that the rest of the world is a lot bigger place than America dont you?

          Nobody is dis*****g the fact that De la hoya is bigger in America than Mani.

          You say nobody is on de la hoyas level, so are you trying to say that oscar is more famous around the world than Ali or tyson? If so that is laughable.

            While Pacquiao is popular i consider him flavor of the month.

            I dont think hes close to Oscar cause he became more famous when he fought and beat Oscar. Oscar helped him do that.

            Pacquiao while famous before couldnt get to Oscars level by himself so no - I dont think he'll ever be close

              You'd have to be a complete ******* to think Pacman has surpassed De La Hoya in popularity. Pacman is definitively the better fighter, but De La Hoya made boxing extremely popular to the mainstream folks. Pacman will never get to that level.

                not even close........remember pacman is 30 now....
                de la hoya began since the olympics he was very young indeed he had it all;
                Oscar had already made more moneyy than pacman and floyd at his 30th birthday

                  manny IS NOT EVEN CLOSE IN SURPASSING Oscar...his numbers are WAY WAY WAY OFF when it comes to a consistant basis...i dont think Manny is even more well known in America than Floyd...I dont think Floyd would ever be as well known as Oscar Delahoya..these pacquiao god threads HAS TO STOP

                  Pacfans next question about manny:

                  Is pacquiao good enough to be the 5th ninja turtle...****en christ..

                    No not yet, but its possible if he keeps winning like he has been.

                      no. De La hoya is a household name in the U.S. people know who he is no matter if they follow boxing or not. I don't think Pacquiao is there yet but if he fights Mayweather then maybe.
