I don't understand how you Pac fans can sit back and rag on Floyd
for this fight not happening KNOWING DAMN WELL that Manny
Pacquiao's reluctance to take the tests is the real reason this fight
is not happening? Why so shady on taking the test at anytime?
Before or after 30 days, same thing what does it matter because
your still giving blood. How idiotic do some of you guys sound and
look Cosigning Pac falling back from this fight but going after Clottey
and making that fight happen fast as hell. Since the Floyd negotiations
all Team Pac has been doing and saying is that Floyd would be tough
to negotiate with BUT Top Rank and Manny were the ones bringing
the smoke and mirrors to the table. All Mayweather wanted was
simple random blood tests to have both fighters come in the ring to
fight on the up and up and Manny says "NO" do you guys see the
oddness in that?

Floyd took 2 tests when he fought De La Hoya. Sometimes I think
a lot of you are like 11 year olds because whenever someone brings
some logic on here and common sense then the debate reverts to childish
name calling and favoritism. I for one am NO FOOL and I see Pac
EXCUSES on why not to take the tests AND the line up of opponents
WHILE negotiating with Floyd AND the lawsuit AND making this fight
with Clottey happen fast right after as Top Rank, Bob Arum
and Pacquiao DUCKING Mayweather Jr AND I don't care what
nobody says in retaliation. Eventhough Clottey deserves a big
fight and am happy for him if it comes off BUT Pac/Floyd was the
fight to make happen at 147.

you can bet, if they talk about fighting in the fall, floyd will demand at least 60-40 this time.....

only winners for this fight will be arum and clottey. in-house fight, so arum keeps all the money, clottey ducked paul williams, but gets rewarded with manny. manny just went from 40 large, to about 7 or 8........

This will sound terrible....but Clottey should duck Williams....stylistically Paul is all wrong for Clottey......

Times have changed and look at all the athletes in general that are
getting caught cheating while competing. This Olympic style testing
I feel could be a good thing for the sport and different sports in a whole.

Yeah this will be a easy fight for Pacquiao. Clottey will agree to make a bull **** catch weight like 145 and there will be a re-hydration clause just like there was with the cotto fight of 5lbs after the weight-in. Clottey will not be allowed to enter the ring over 150lbs hell be good for the first 4 rounds then itll catch up to him like it did with Cotto for not being able to re-hydrate properly. Pac knock out of a dried out handicapped Clottey.

Can anyone clear up the bolded? I have been seeing this claim, One Punch claimed this was also present during ODLH, but I can't believe it. For one, only Pac seems to demand and get this. Second and more important, would any sanctioning body allow this kind of fight stipulation? I would think that this would at least border on "endangering boxer's health"

Arum said he would no longer consider any form of testing beyond what the state commission requires for any future fight with Pacquiao -- including Mayweather.

"This is beyond ******," said Arum. "That was my biggest mistake, allowing any of this to happen. I should have said no. We're not revisiting [blood testing]. We're not negotiating with these punks anymore. If Mayweather wants to fight Pacquiao down the road, he will have to go by the testing the state commission asks for. If not, life goes on."


Given these statements a possible match with PBF, Mosley and JMM appears to be out the window for Pac.......looks like he is only fighting Top Rank fighters from now on....
