I think it might be a little hard to build momentum for this fight because Pac just beat the guy who beat the guy lol and Clotty hasn't been in the ring since the Cotto fight. It probably would have been better if Clotty was in the ring and had a good win first. I'll still watch the fight because I love boxing and this is definitely an interesting match up but its still downer for everyone knowing what could have been.

I'm sorta happy to see Pacquiao has realized 154lbs might be too big for him on fight night. On the other hand, I'm not sure how I feel about this Clottey fight. Clottey has a tight defense, won't throw that much to win the fight, and probably won't let Pac touch him all that much. I hope it's exciting though. It's a VERy credible opponent though. He wrecked Diego, nearly beat Margarito if his hand didn't go bad, and had Cotto in trouble and could of taken that fight. I'd say he's a dangerous opponent because he's high risk low reward.

Agreed...i thought he beat Cotto clearly. Stylistically though Pac is a good matchup for him. I still think ima go with Clottey on this one though (if it happens) if its @ 147. If they want a catch weight and Clottey agrees i go with Pac.

Clottey IMO at this current time beats every1 @ 147 with the exception of williams and Mayweather-----> stylistically Clotteys kryptonite.

I also think Clottey could beat SMM based purely on style. A fight i would like to see.

'am beginning to think that this pac-clottey fight is arum's decoy to make floyd cave in with his blood test request. i don't think arum will drop this fight, he's a greedy sob. arum is giving floyd's camp something to think about... if you notice, the blood test timetable is shrinking. i don't believe that floyd is ducking pac, he needs money more than pac and after he wins this mega fight he can retire for good. but if he looses, a rematch or trilogy will be in the making. ahhh this is boxing business, this is just a circus negotiation.
