I think this fight would generate a lot more cheese if they decided to fight in Clottey's home country of Ghana. I think Clottey fighting in front of his countryman would make this a more competitive fought.

Pac is supposed to be superman. Why not Ghana? I know Pac's cream puff fans will cry that it would be unfair because Pac is more popular and if anything they should fight in Manila.

Hey Pac, do what a real hard knocker did like when Haglar went to England and beat Alan Mintor's ass in his backyard.

I might just gain some respect for Pac if he did.

Bob Arum, Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao have done excellent
jobs at Hyping Manny's career to this point. I honestly think that
anny has had more matches handicapped in his favor than Floyd Jr.
But that is just my opinion, doesn't have to be fact. Arum has been
in the business for a loooong time so he knows the in/outs very well.

not remotely happening, since pac used to fight in japan and thailand to beat their top fighters. but consider now his status and the "business" side of it, will it be profitable enough to go there?

I think the government in Ghana will put up their presidential mansion for a fight like this. Kind of like they did in Zaire for Ali-Foreman. This isn't the most appealing fight in the world so fighting in Ghana would create a big buzz in Africa. Kind of like the Floyd/Pac was doing here in the US.

Have you known any other time where there was a "rehydration clause" or limit to the fight night weight, as opposed to weigh in? I have never heard of such things, ever but I ask others who may know more than me...

Thanks in advance for any reply

                Teddy Atlas just confirmed...

That Pacquiao's camp did indeed ask what the penalty would be if a positive test for PED was given & if so can they keep it secret. Huge!!!!!!! PacqROID

Honestly. Never heard of it. Catchweights I heard of but
"rehydration clauses"? NO. Funny how Manny was going to
fight Floyd (Supposedly) at 147 but opted to fight Cotto
at 145, WITH a rehydration clause"? No Pac fans think
                  that that was/is rather unusual?

Thanks for the reply. Like I said before, I seriously doubt this claim of rehydration clauses and fight night weight limits to be true for Pac or for any other fight. I cant even magine Cotto or even better ODLH agreeing to such a clause against any fighter.
