I don't care if you're fighting for peanuts, if you make one guy test you should make all guys test. They're all going in there to kill eachother.

Great Article, boxing do need stricter EVERYTHING, not ONLY for the big fights though, also for the small ones, if they get away with it since early on its gonna keep happening and they shouldnt be banking not one cent more, so from the beginning they should have all these tests and procedures done 100 thoroughly.

Shane Left Twisting in the Wind?

Now that this issue has come to the fore, yes, I suppose he does, especially since Shane has admitted to prior steroid use. DiBella may not be able to have more stringent testing enforced contractually after the fact, but if he made the "request" to Shane's camp publicly, I'd be curious to see how they [read, GBP] would respond.

Al Haymon to Berto, "sorry buddy, but you ain't making it rain, therefore you'll just have to cross your fingers against a known cheat"

What you have to keep in mind though is that Berto has been chasing a fight with Shane for a long time. Shane has been chasing Pac and Floyd and Berto was not really on his radar. Shane has said in the past he had minimal interest in Berto. Now that Berto has the fight asking for extra testing could be a deal breaker that would put Andre back to square one. This is the biggest fight of Berto's career but its just another title fight for Shane.

that's what i am talking about. CONSISTENCY. If they want more drug testing, then drug test EVERYBODY IN THE SAME MANNER. WTF are they insisting that Pacquiao should have a new set of testing (and yeah, Mayweather too, for this fight), but what about the others? Why insist on Pacquiao who never tested positive? Why not require it to those who either tested positive, or even admitted to it? Why not make it mandatory?
