He say clear Mayweather Pac have big leverage , he say he already sign Mosley deal and cannot change , this stronger drug test to catch cheat was not in mind before Floyd ask his opponent , is now in everybody mind ,, why you see what he say clear in blur ?While I agree that Pacquiao should take the test because of the significance of the fight--what Dibella said was a poor man's excuse, I'm sorry. I try to be an objective fan as possible.
DiBella: "I hope and I trust that he's smart enough that he stopped the inappropriate performance enhancement".
It's easy for him to ridicule Pacquiao for not accepting tests but Dibella is willing to let his supposed star fighter go without an olympic drug test against a self-proclaimed PED user? What the heeziiiii? I see a double standard.

Blood tests need to be random for every fight!!!
DumbAss DigitalBeast, urinalysis doesn't detect it all. If if did than it wouldv'e caught Mosley. It's unfortunate but fighters as well as other athletes get away with using.
I remember when Barry Bonds was accused and I didn't know what to believe; but in the end he was using. The same could be with Manny unless proven otherwise, that's why he need to be randomly tested before the fight.
Mosley admitted to inadvertantly using whether it was inadvertant or not he was using and never got caught, so boxing really does need more stringent tests that will detect it through the blood and not the urine!!!Comment

Bull****, he also said that Berto is not a enough a big-name to asks for that type of drug testing.
I didn't know 100% safety was only exclusive to A-list fighters.
Al Haymon to Berto, "sorry buddy, but you ain't making it rain, therefore you'll just have to cross your fingers against a known cheat"Comment

So let me see if I can get Dibella's logic straight:
His logic for boxing needing better testing is because guys like Vargas, Mosley, Botha, and Toney were caught using performance enhancing drugs.
And through which testing method were they caught through (besides Mosley)?
Hilarious.

deal was already signed. couldn't go back on it. if he could he probably would seeing as though the number one pound for pound fighter (pac) is throwing a ALL OUT war from getting a tea spoon of his blood testedBull****, he also said that Berto is not a enough a big-name to asks for that type of drug testing.

All fights hold significance, in lieu of the fact that boxing is in and of itself a dangerous sport.
If by "financially" significant, in terms of explaining why Pac should take tests, that is a different litmus test. All fighters should be required to undergo testing. The minute you start to pick and choose who should be tested and when, sets a potentially dangerous precedent and it does more harm to the sport than good in the long run.Comment

Do you know how bad he sounds saying that?
Mayweather's primary argument is that he wants a fair fight, like what Ellerbe and Haymon want, right? I have no problem with that because I want the tests too--so I hope Pacquiao just gets over his fear and do the damn blood test because only making it worse. My problem is Dibella accusing Pacquiao of being associated with people who's involved with steroids, which raises questions about protecting fighters. This points back to his own charge--Andre Berto.
You say Dibella doesn't have the leverage. Now, I ask, does he really need to have leverage if he wants to protect his fighter? Zab Judah asked Mosley for a blood test---but he refused and the fight never happened. I ask now, regardless of leverage, doesn't Dibella have an obligation to his fighter's safety by asking for the blood test from Shane Mosley?Last edited by rao007; 12-30-2009, 06:04 PM.Comment
