A random blood testing for the synthetic Human Growth Hormone, Somatropin, within the training period leading to the fight is NOT an effective way to catch cheaters especially if it is done within the thirty days before the fight.

Well, if you read the article it says it is not the most effective way. But they still test for blood transfusions, EPO and synthetic hemoglobin. Anyway, there is no harm in taking the test. If you had to give a few tiny blood samples over a two month period for $40 million, would you do it?
